This is probably the best serum I’ve used. I’m 54 lyo male and have seen an obvious decrease in fine lines and a more even tone. Third bottle so far and don’t plan to change.

QV have added a wonderful addition to their range with the QV face hydrate + renew serum. Its a lightweight and lovely product. Where the product loses stars is purely packaging. The short internal pump is ineffective below 2/3 of the bottle capacity, therefore the final weeks are met with opening the pump and decanting the serum into your palm. Its a workaround but a disappointing one, particularly those who may be averse to opening the product and increasing the contamination and oxidation (although the formulation is resilient enough and stable enough to handle this). Would love to see an improvement in the pump, but otherwise a worthwhile, affordable and lovely product. Also like the addition of the peer-reviewed reference on the bottle.

Firstly I have to say that I love that QV Face Hydrate and Renew Serum is fragrance free and made in Australia. It has a handy pump that pumps out a good amount of Serum for use on the face and neck. It feels lovely and light on the skin and absorbs really quickly. It can be used both day and night and I found that it worked well under makeup to give a gorgeous natural glow and didn’t produce any excess shine during the day. While when I applied at night, it worked perfectly to give my skin a hydration boost ready for the next morning. After a month of use, I can definitely say that this serum has improved my skin! Not only does it give the skin a beautiful glow but my skin’s appearance looks clearer and more healthy. My complexion is now brighter and more awake and my skin feels so smooth and soft! I didn't notice a huge difference in the fine lines around my eyes, so I was a bit disappointed there. I would recommend this product for its super Hydrating qualities but not for the anti-aging qualities, though will continue to use and finish the bottle and see how that aspect goes. Thankyou Beauty Heaven for giving the the opportunity to trial with product. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute!

I was lucky enough to be selected as a reviewer for QV face hydrate and renew serum. I found it to be extremely light on my skin and easily added into my current skin care regime. I found the serum to be lightly scented and a small amount goes a very long way - excellent value for money! After applying to my face and neck I did notice my face looker fresher and after using it for a few weeks found my face looking healthier, although not sure if any of the wrinkles had diminished or not. I will continue to use daily and look forward to continued improvements.

I love QV products and I'm so glad that I was selected by beauty heaven to trial the QV hydrate + renew face serum. I have been using the serum for the past 3 weeks and I can see improvements in my skin. I apply the serum to my face and neck in the mornings and evenings after cleansing my face. The product is packaged well and easy to dispense the amount needed. The serum texture is quite light similar to a lotion and on application, it dries quickly. Which reduces the time it takes to complete my skincare routine. So far I have noticed that my skin is more hydrated and smooth and wrinkles are less visible. I will continue using the serum.

I was offered this by the Trial Team YAY.... and I have been so happy to trial this product. I've got dry, sensitive skin and often find products give me a million little bumps up to burning my skin. With winter I have been very dry, and so wasn't really giving this much hope. However amazingly this has been so hydrating, without causing any skin irritation. I love putting this on morning and night and my skin feeling invigorated, it soothes the dryness and I recommend it. I use this as my first step in my routine and have not had any problems with Pilling on the skin. I even used it on my 9 year old daughter, her skin had dry bumps on it, that felt like the KP I get on my arms. So I used this and my moisturiser on her and the difference overnight surprised me, after 3 nights her skin is much softer and she says it feels not as tight and itchy, so she is happy. One pump is plenty for while face and neck on me and I have a plump face. Also really like that it's a pump bottle, so I don't have to worry about spilling.

Thanks for choosing me for this particular trial. The QV serum smells nice and is non greasy. My skin just soaked up the serum, nil breakouts noticed. The serum came in a nice little pump pack with a clear lid. The smell didnt make me sneeze so thats a bonus. My wrinkles after 2 weeks looked smoother and my skin looked more even. I was getting compliments at work. I only needed to use a small amount as it would spread a long way. I used both morning and night. I liked that I woke up feeling refreshed each day.

Thank you BH for the opportunity to trial the V Face Hydrate + Renew Serum. I have very sensitive skin and was looking forward to the results from an Australian company product. Love that this product is not fragranced and the ingredients list reads "wow". The packaging is attractive and the pump pack is easy to use with no waste. I have tried many hydrating serums and they are all mostly more richer in consistency, this product was very thin and watery. After a couple of weeks of perseverance I did not really notice a difference in the hydration or texture of my skin no matter if I used a little or a lot. My biggest concern was the recurrence of irritation it caused and following redness and burning sensation of my skin.

Was excited to try this product given QV's market status as very gentle products, suitable for even the most sensitive skin types. Instructions say 1-2 pumps but 1 pump was plenty! Very light formulation & soaked into skin quickly given how wet it feels when applied. No issues when applied under makeup & the pump bottle makes for a quick, mess free application. Results were good, but not outstanding. Liked it for the hydration although would be more likely to use in summer, as need a thicker & more intense cream for the colder months. I wouldn't buy this for anti-aging purposes, was a little too gentle for my tired & wrinkly 36yo skin!

I was very grateful to be part of the QV face hydrate and renew serum for sensitive skin trials. I love niacinamide on my skin it is one of my favourite ingredients to use so I was excited about that and also that it promised to do all of the things I need for my skin calming firming and lightly hydrating, fragrance-free and for sensitive skin. The packaging was very basic and simple and on the cheaper side but given the price point that is fine and to be expected. I was surprised that the serum was a milky white but it was very light in texture once applied. I wasn't a big fan of the smell although it is fragrance-free it had an aniseedy sent to me maybe ? from one of the active ingredients. I only needed one pump of the serum for my face and one pump of the serum for my neck and chest. A little went a long way but it was very light and absorbed quickly. I am very prone to redness and don't enjoy heavy things on my skin. I found it calmed my skin instantly and didn't leave any residue. I did not notice an intense firming of my skin but I think with further use it would be possible. The hydration level for me was perfect during the day and sat very nicely under my make-up. I would be open to purchasing this product or recommending it to someone with sensitive skin on a budget.

The packaging is very high-end and is especially stunning when you are looking at an RRP of only $20.99! It beautifully dispenses a small amount, just enough each time so there's no wastage. A few drops were enough to cover my face, I didn't continue use on neck or decolletage as I didn't like the slight filmy residue it left. But I used it as recommended twice a day and replaced my regular serums before my other products I would regularly use on a daily basis. The serum is white, quite opaque and wonderfully fragrance-free. It feels like a light lotion, making it incredibly easy to spread on skin. I did find that it never truly absorbed into my skin after application, no matter how long I waited, it stubbornly left a bit of a 'filmy' feel to my skin which I really didn't like. Even after using a facial scrub or clay mask, which would normally make my skin soak everything up, I was left with this stubborn slight 'film'. (That being said, I did like using it after dermaplaning, it was very gentle and soothing.) The other issue I experienced was that if I chose not to apply a moisturiser on top of this (sometimes you just don't want to go through your whole skin care routine), it made foundation look terrible (liquid and powder). Most of the serums that I use have no issues with forgoing the next step of moisturising and applying foundation. It also did not play well with some of the core products in my regular skin care routine. Only 3 stars from me because of the stubborn 'filmy' feel and that it didn't play well with make-up and some of my regular products. Perhaps it would work much better for those with sensitive skin that is drier than mine, as I can be prone to an oily T-zone even in winter. Just because it wasn't perfect for me, I do see the huge benefits of a product like this for those with skin sensitivity as well as being a high quality product from a trusted Australian brand like QV that will not break the bank. Hence I would still 100% recommend it to others even though I will not be repurchasing.

The QV Face Hydrate and Renew Serum is a light, easily absorbed serum specially formed for sensitive skin. It contains niacinamide which is for hydrating the skin and forming a protective barrier against aggressors, and vitamin B3 and vitamin E both of which help to restore and strengthen the skin. Vitamin B3 (Panthenol) also has the added benefit of aiding hydration and absorption of your skin. So, I was very excited when I was offered the chance to trial and review this product. I have previously used a version of niacinamide that is 5x the price. This one is much more affordable and is also just as effective with the benefit of some extra ingredients. The packaging is lovely and the pump is much more appealing then a dropper. One pump is the perfect amount to cover my face and my neck generously. The serum is light and readily absorbs into my skin. My skin was left feeling plump, hydrated and over time has reduced the appearance of wrinkles, particularly around my eyes. It reduced the redness that I get from Rosacea and left my skin feeling smooth and soft. I love that this is Australian owned and made and a much more affordable option then others on the market. I will gladly replace my more expensive serum (and my vitamin E serum) with this little workhorse serum

I have dehydrated, slightly sensitive skin and this QV Hydrate & Renew Serum sounded like a great product for my skin concerns. The serum comes in a compact and lightweight (25g) pump bottle. It has a light and non-greasy texture that absorbs very well, leaving no residue. I am pleased that this serum is suitable for sensitive skin and doesn't contain a fragrance. I use about 2 pumps for my face and neck, and the soothing, light gel texture hydrates and plumps up my fine lines well. It creates a lovely, smooth base for my moisturiser and makeup, and my makeup glides on evenly on top. I have noticed that my skin tone has improved since using this serum and my skin is visibly less dehydrated. I think this is a good, basic yet hydrating and smoothing serum, particularly for more sensitive skin types.

This QV Face Hydrate and Renew Serum is so skin friendly. After using it for 2 weeks twice a day I have seen an improvement in skin clarity. The pump bottle delivers a good amount for the face and I add another one for neck and decolletage. I followed with a QV moisturiser. Avoiding the eye area the serum sinks in without a trace so is great under makeup. Like a primer, I saw pores and fine lines seem to diminish. Fragrance free - so there was no irritation. I would recommend consistency of use and use of an emollient cream on took as the non oily texture could be drying on it's own. Patience is required as it took a while before results noticeably kicked in. The brand suggests 28 days and I will be re purchasing as the simplicity and economy of this product really appeals.

Thank you to BH and QV for sending the Face Hydrate + Renew Serum to me to trial recently. I've been putting this serum through its paces for a while now and here are my thoughts on this product: PACKAGING: Like all QV products, the Hydrate + Renew Serum is packaged in a white plastic cylindrical bottle with blue writing and silver accents. The overall look is slightly clinical yet soothing on the eye somehow. The serum is a pump pack which squirts enough product in one pump to cover the face and neck area. It is not a pump that locks but does come with a clear lid to assist in preventing leakage. It doesn't snap on that tightly however and while the bottle is a good size for travelling (25g), I don't think I'd trust the clear lid to stop spillage and would probably put it in a plastic bag to be safe. PRODUCT: The serum is gentle enough to be used daily morning and night under a moisturiser or nightcream. It is a lightweight, opaque, slightly runny cream which is mostly unscented but I smell just a hint of menthol (though I don't know if it contains this or not). It does contain vitamins B3 and B5 which are good for the skin. It absorbs pretty quickly with no trace of a sticky residue or any oiliness. PERFORMANCE: The serum definitely softens the skin immediately but doesn't feel heavy or like it would block pores so I feel it's suitable for all skin types, even oily skin. It is of course great for anyone with skin sensitivities and it did feel that it was gentle on my skin and caused no redness, tightness or irritation. I feel my skin does feel softer since starting to use this product. I'm not sure I look younger but I think I look better anyway. All in all, I think this is a good product for anyone with sensitive, dry and/or aging skin wanting a skin boost without fear of irritation.

I was delighted to have been selected as part of the Trial Team for the Ego QV Face Hydrate + Renew Serum. I have incredibly sensitive skin which can be irritated easily but this did not irritate at all. I tend to avoid alcohol in ingredients in skin care and this does have cetearyl alcohol but it is well down the list of ingredients and I didn't react to any of the ingredients. It is a beautiful, very pleasant feeling serum with a gel like consistency. It has Niacinamide and Avemide15, which is a purified natural extract that calms and soothes and claims to increase skin hydration and elasticity for firmer, plumper skin. While I found it pleasant to use I didn't notice a big difference in my skin but I always use a good serum and have looked after my skin all my life so it is in good condition even though I am no longer young. I didn't use it with makeup - I tried it but the makeup pilled giving a less than good feel and look by the end of the day, hence 4 stars, not 5. I was happy to use it in the morning if I wasn't going out and at night. Overall I was impressed and delighted to have been given the opportunity to trial. Thank you, Beauty Heaven and Ego/QV.

I was really happy to be trialling this wonderful face serum - it's just what I needed for the winter season. I've been using it for the past 3 weeks and it really impressed me. I've noticed my skin looking more radiant, healthy, and nourished. The serum comes in a simple, easy-to-use pump bottle. It has a lightweight texture that absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving behind any residue. Doesn't feel greasy at all. It has niacinamide(B3), glycerin, panthenol, and Avemide 15 which all are great ingredients for hydration and nourishing for skin. It is fragrance-free and non-comedogenic. It's affordable and available at Priceline and Chemist Warehouse. I would highly recommend it and would buy it again!

I use a lot of QV products because they are for sensitive skin, I'm never without their body wash and body moisturizer as I love the fresh clean feel that I get without the irritating scents that make my skin prickle - so I loved the thought of a gentle serum. The serum is presented in a easy to use 25g pump bottle that dispenses the ideal amount of serum for face and décolletage. The serum is clear with no scent and is absorbed quickly leaving a soft sheen on my skin. I had no reaction on application but did notice the serum felt a little sticky and tacky until I applied my night cream on top the serum. I loved the light and fresh feel on my skin, the serum is comfortable and moisturizing. I didn't see any significant changes to my skin hydration or reduction in fine lines but I would recommend this serum for anyone with sensitive skin who wants to introduce a serum to their skincare regime.

As a repeat user of QV bath and shower non soap wash / oil products, I was excited to try their face range and it did not disappoint. A little goes a long way and it was perfect for my sensitive skin. I felt it is better applied whilst skin is still slightly damp to get better absorption. This serum was fantastic for me and I did not experience any side effects, in fact it calmed my skin. I use it twice a day now, as part of my skincare regime and will definitely be purchasing it in the future. I definitely recommend this QV hydrate + renew serum to anyone looking for a gentle, more natural approach to skin care.

This serum is a lightweight lotion gel feel and spreads well on the skin so you do not need a lot of product to cover the face. I have redness and sensitivity on my cheeks and this did not irritate me at all - I found the best time to use it is after a hot shower as it just gets sucked up by my skin... I found it softened by eye area and lip area - I wouldn't say it got rid of my wrinkles but it definitely helped hydrate my eye area and my skin in general - not a heavy scent which is always welcomed and all round lovely product

QV Face Hydrate and Renew Serum is a lightweight serum which comes in a lovely pump pack and I found a single pump perfect for treating my face and neck. At the moment my skin is super sensitive and reactive, so I have been really pleasantly surprised at how calming and soothing this serum is. I have been using this serum for three weeks in the morning and evening after cleansing and before moisturising. It is absorbed very quickly and I find it leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth and hydrated. For me QV Face Hydrate & Renew Serum meets its claims to help increase skin hydration and elasticity as my skin certainly appears to be firmer, and plumper. I am also loving how smooth and soft my skin feels. The formula includes Vitamin B3, Pro Vitamin B5, Vitamin E and Avemide15 and is dermatologically tested and fragrance free. This is a great addition to a skin care routine.

I was very keen to try this product. My skin is dry generally and this causes fine lines where one does not need them. The first thing I noticed about this product was it’s very elegant presentation. The bottle is just wonderful to use at home or to take in ones handbag for necessary use. Further this formula is very effective on sensitive skin needing expert hydration. The first application creates a noticeable smooth skin surface. The serum is wonderfully fragrance free that makes it so appealing. The excellent design of the petite bottle makes application very pleasurable. The serum can be applied in seconds. The vitamins B3, B5 and Vitamin E give the serum a great positivity surely adding to its hydrating and renewing promises which is noticeably effective the longer it is used. The Ego QV Face Company is very desirable due to their quality products. I recommend this serum whole heartedly.

I love the QV brand and currently use a number of their products in my beauty regime. I was very much looking forward to trying this Hydrate & Renew Serum, as I have very sensitive skin that is prone to dryness. Especially during winter, my face is prone to redness and irritation, so I was looking forward to testing whether this serum would help to alleviate my symptoms. I was very pleasantly surprised by how hydrated my skin felt using this serum, which was very easy to apply via the pump dispenser. The serum absorbed quickly and easily into my skin, making it feel instantly more hydrated and not as tight. It also helped to lessen the redness and irritation around my nose. When used in conjunction with a quality moisturiser, I found this serum excellent. I hope that with further use, I will see even more improvement with my skin's elasticity and firmness. I would recommend this serum to anyone who has sensitive skin like myself, and also to people who have more mature skin that is prone to dryness and irritation.

I was so happy to be picked to trial the QV Face Hydrate and renew serum as I currently use the QV Cleanser and Day Cream. So the serum would be part of my daily routine as well as I have been using the products for years, but never used a serum before. Loved the container its in and the pump action as it gives you a good amount each time you pump. I found one pump was more than enough for my face and neck. I loved the texture and how it was fragrance free. It didnt take make for it to soak into my skin which is a good thing as I followed it up with the day cream. I applied the serum morning and night and have found my skin to look and feel better. Even around my eyes there seemed to be less fine lines. Will be buying this product in the future for my daily routine

The QV Hydrate + Renew Serum had an enjoyable texture that was viscous without being thick, and spread easily on the face. While fragrance-free the product does have its own scent, which is subtle and inoffensive. After using for a few days, I noticed visible improvement in hydration -- the serum left my skin soft and supple, and I didn't not experience any of my usual sensitivity on my dry skin despite it being mid-winter. After two weeks, I was surprised that the appearance of some deep wrinkles between the brow had softened dramatically. After three weeks, the brightening effects plateaued but I'm pleased with the results. I suspect if I want further improvement, I'd need to look into peptides and retinol products. The serum layered nicely under moisturiser and sunscreen, and I enjoyed using the pump bottle, which dispensed just the right amount for my face every time without leaving residue at the tip.

I was so exciting to be part of the trail team for QV face hydrate and renew serum. Upon arrival of this superb product I applied it to my cleansed face to feel immediate results. I really like the simple packaging of this product coming in QV's signature blue and white trade make box. The pump bottle holds 25g of product, some more product would be beneficial as I have already used most of it on my face in a short amount of time. My skin responded well to the ingredients in this serum, helping my face feel calm and hydrated upon every application, one pump morning and night. I have noticed my skin feels a lot smoother and refined along with improved skin elasticity which I am happy with since my skin texture can be a bit uneven for a 53 year old. The fragrance free, non comedogenic formula is very light and easily absorbed leaving no trace of shine or sticking feeling on my sensitive facial skin. Packed with Niacinamide and Avemide 15 which is a purified natural extract, helped to calm and sooth my skin, helping it feel more plumper and firmer. This product worked really well with my other skin treatment products and worked well under sunblock as it simply disappeared into my skin with out leaving a trace, such a pleasure to use and I will be incorporating it into my skin care routine. I also love the fact that QV products are made in Australia, so this product ticks all the boxes for me.

This serum comes in a cute little bottle with a cap and pump. One pump of the bottle provides an ample amount of serum to cover the whole face and neck/décolletage. The serum is creamy/white and I found that it absorbed relatively easily into my skin, however at times it could leave a slightly tacky residue behind. Although the serum did not irritate my sensitive skin, I did at times find that it could leave it feeling slightly dry and tight before I applied my moisturiser. Unfortunately, this serum wasn't really compatible with the moisturiser I am currently using (perhaps would be better suited to a QV moisturiser, which is recommended on the packaging) and I found that if I didn't leave ample time for absorption, my moisturiser wouldn't absorb either and I was left with little lumps of congealed product on my face! Not great as a base for make-up unfortunately. I didn't really notice a big difference in the appearance or texture of my skin, but I'm sure this will be a great addition to many skin regimes, especially at such a reasonable price point.

I was so glad to be given the opportunity to try the QV Face Hydrate + Renew Serum – I forgot how comforting and gentle this brand is. This serum is specifically formulated with the following main ingredients; Vitamin B3, Pro Vitamin B5 and Avemide 15™, tailored for sensitive skin to hydrate, to firm and sooth the face. I used the serum over a three-week period, for morning and evening applications. The results were very good. Overall, my skin was happily hydrated, smoother, and soothed. I found that one pump was sufficient for the serum to glide over my face as the consistency was nice and light. It was also fantastic with my make-up applications as my skin did not feel heavy or clogged. I will be looking out for more of the QV Face product range as I loved the simplicity of the formulation and the way my skin felt calmer and moisturised. Highly recommended.

Thank you to Beauty Heaven and QV for my trial pack of the hydrate and renew serum. I started using on the 8th of June so got to trial for 3 weeks. In a nutshell I love this serum. It's perfect for my sensitive skin and doesn't cause any problems with my Rosacea. The serum is white, medium/thin consistency and the best part is that it's not greasy, rich or heavy going. My skin can't tolerate rich serums or moisturisers and this serum suits me perfectly. The serum absorbs fast and has a nice cooling effect going on. Two pumps is enough to do my forehead and face so the pack will last quite a while. It's fragrance free which is a must for sensitive skin and I can detect a faint scent. The scent has a kind of medicated smell about it but it's unnoticeable once applied. The serum didn't perform any miracles on my fine lines and wrinkles but it did keep my skin hydrated and smooth. Right at the beginning I noticed the serum made my forehead go a bit dry but after a few days this settled. The pump pack has a nice, stylish look and is easy to use. The box has instructions on how to dispose of all the components, either into the rubbish or recycle. For me the serum is perfect to use everyday with my skin type and is the perfect product to use after the QV gentle face cleanser. A simple, no frills affordable serum. Made in Australia.

I was very happy to try one of the trusted Ego QV Face ranges Hydrate & Renew Serum. Being winter and working in an air-conditioned environment, my skin currently feels tight and dry. Having used this serum for three weeks and twice a day, morning and night, I did feel a very nice improvement in both hydration and plumpness. By using it in the morning under my normal moistruiser it felt like my skin had a well moisturised barrier during the day. I absolutely loved that it was also fragrance free as some sensitive skin serums I’ve used in the past have too much scent for my liking. In the evening, after cleansing my face, I applied a thin layer of serum especially to my T-zone area where it can get really dry due to environmental factors – it helped a treat! My skin felt refreshed and nourished with reduced dryness. The serum is white in colour and beautifully lightweight which means it glided effortlessly over my face with no sticky residue. It also absorbs very quickly which meant my normal moisturiser application was easy to proceed with. I thoroughly enjoyed using this serum and trust the QV range for my face.

The brand QV has been a tried and trusted product ever present in our household for years but had never tried their serum before and wish I had earlier! Thanks to BH I finally did.The brand was recommended to us after my husbands surgery to apply the moisturizer on the healing wound and for cleansing it as well so I always knew it was a gentle yet effective product. Hence was not suprised that the serum was so very gentle around the sensitive areas of my face. The product comes in the distinct blue and white coloured pack and is a generously sized, easy to use pump pack. Just one pump is more than adequate to cover my entire face. It is white in colour and has no fragrance making it suitable for almost all skin types. The serum is not greasy and very easily glides across my face making it very easy to apply quickly and cover all areas with minimum of fuss. It soaks into my skin quickly leaving it feeling fresh more supple and definetly more hydrated. After about 30 seconds I apply my QV face moisturizer. It does not burn even a little bit around the dry sensitive skin around my nose and mouth. If anything it actually soothes and calms the skin around the dry areas on my face, leaving my whole face feeling less tight and soft to the touch. I loved how gentle the serum was! Especially with Melbourne's harsh dry winter making my skin feel tight and dry this serum certainly came to the rescue. Within 2 weeks the skin around sensitive areas of my face, that felt dry and stressed has become normal again! My skin looks much healthier with a soft glow and more supple and smooth. The lines on my forehead have become less noticeable and the overall appearance seems clearer and softer. Will certainly continue to buy and use this serum from QV as it really has been a saviour for my dry and stressed winter skin!

Thank you for allowing me to be involved in this trial. I was excited to try this product as I love a serum. However, I found the Serum a little light for my ''older'' skin (I'm 66!!). Trialling the serum in winter is also not a good time as my skin needs a heavier serum and heavier moisturiser. That being said...it would be great to use in the warmer weather. The pump pack is a great size and easy to use. One pump is enough to cover face, neck and decolletage. I did find that it takes about 5 minutes for it to be completely absorbed into the skin. I like that is is fragrance free. After using the serum for 3 weeks, I did not notice any great change to my skin. I would recommend this serum for younger skin, or for older skin that is not so dry, or to be used in the warmer months.

I was fortunate enough to be invited to trial QV Face Hydrate and Renew Serum, something I would not have purchased as I tend to stick to my regular products. QV serum absorbs so quickly into my skin and gives it a much needed hydration hit. QV recommend using 1-2 pumps per application and that was more than enough for my thirsty skin. I have very sensitive skin and had no negative reactions and as it had no fragrance that was another big plus for me. It was compatible with all my other skincare.

Beauty Heaven, you really have to be thanked; firstly for popping me on this particular trial, but secondly for throwing this little gem my way. It really is an unassuming looking serum, but on further inspection, the ingredient list is a bit WOW. There are some well known Winter skin powerhouses, such as B5 and Vitamin E, but they've also included newcomer, Vit B3. Seriously, go look it up. It's magic in quite a few ways, including prevention of Squamous Cell Carcinoma if you've ever had that type of skin cancer before, or pre cancers. It's a very helpful little preventative to have in the arsenal. Back to the serum itself. It's encased in a white plastic pump pack, with silver accents, and contains 25g of product. I've found that one pump is all it takes to apply to face, neck and chest, so it's quite economical. Less is more with this serum, and it absorbs quite quickly, without stickiness, ready for the next step in your routine (I use a face oil as well as a moisturiser). It's a very simple addition to your routine, both morning and night. The serum itself has a silky consistency, almost gel like, and is simple to work with. There is a very faint smell of oat, but I find it pleasant, and it disappears quickly. It's gentle on my skin (I have very thirsty skin), and plumps and hydrates immediately. Long term, it's been nothing short of amazing; ensuring hydration lasts through the day, allowing my skin to be impervious to the elements. My skin feels soothed, looks plumper and the elasticity factor has definitely jumped the fence. For the price point, it'll be staying in my routine.

Thank you Beauty Heaven & QV for the opportunity to trial QV Hydrate & Renew Serum. The serum is lightweight, non-fragrant & calming. It is well presented in an easy to dispense 25g pump container. I found one pump was enough to cover my face & neck. The serum absorbs quickly & easily into the skin without leaving a sticky residue. The serum layers perfectly with my other skin care products and as an added bonus, I was also able to use less of my other products. I am however unconvinced it visibly reduced fine lines or visibly increased my skin hydration. The serum definitely helped decrease my skin sensitivity which I experience over the winter months. I feel it is a great adjunct with other products & I will definitely purchase more of this serum & continue using throughout winter.

I am pleased I got the chance to trial this product. I've never gotten around to trying this brand. With the description of this saying it was hydrating I was surprised to see it did'nt contain hyaluronic acid which I have always been led to believe was a necessary ingredient in hydration. It contains a patented ingredient called Avemide, and it left my skin feeling hydrated when used with a moisturiser afterwards as instructed. The recommended 1 pump application delivers the right amount, the bottle is hygienic but their is no way of knowing if I am nearing the end of it unfortunately, I like to buy skincare products in advance and make sure I have a continuous supply rather than run out of it unexpectedly. It absorbs quickly and moisturiser sits well over the top of it. My skin can be sensitive but it caused no irritation. It helped add moisture to my skin, and it looked good. however I don't think I would go so far as to say it was renewed. This is a well priced product that I would recommend if you have skin that needs a bit more moisture or if you want to add a serum to your skincare regime.

I recently received this Hydrate & Renew Serum to trial and I really liked it. It is very light, easily absorbed into your skin, yet it does a wonderful job at hydrating my skin. Since using this serum in my beauty routine I have noticed that my skin looks noticeably more hydrated, plumper and healthier. I definitely recommend this serum to anyone that it looking for that something to give their skin an extra boost of hydration. Very easy to work into your beauty routine. I will definitely be purchasing more of this. Great for winter skin blues!

QV face Hydrate and Renew Serum is one of those products which you may think doesn’t do much but once you stop using it , you would notice what you are missing. I was pleasantly surprised how gentle it was for my dry and sensitive skin. I used the serum followed by a moisturiser twice a day. This serum is good under layers of moisturiser, sunscreen and makeup for a day time as well as under face oil or rich night cream for end of the day routine. Great formulation with fragrance free and non irritant skin soothing anti aging ingredients. Also fabulous,convenient and thoughtful pump dispensing formula to cater for a sensitive skin. The serum hydrates and nourishes the skin making it look younger with regular use.

I have tried couple of QV products in the past and had good experience with them. So I was really excited to try this new QV hydrate+renew serum.I gently massage this serum every morning and night on my face and neck after cleansing before apply the moisturisers. It left my skin feel super hydrated,looked healthier and felt more smooth. This hydrate serum comes in 25g pump nozzle bottle. It is easy to use and delivers a small amount of serum at each time.The serum is white in colour and has more of a lotion consistency compared to other serums I have tried. It is easy to spread on the skin. Once applied texture is look like water but very refreshing.It instantly absorbed in to my skin, not sticky at all and allowing me to quickly move on to your next product. I have been using the serum for more than three weeks now, and feel that my skin is more hydrated than before.This serum is fragrance-free, full of good hydrating and calming ingredients, so it is great for the people who has sensitive skin too. Thank you Beautyheaven, I received this product as part of the trial team. QV Face Hydrate and Renew Serum is specifically for sensitive skin, helping to reduce wrinkle surface by up to 35% after 28 days. After using this serum morning and night after cleansing and before applying moisturiser I found it left my skin feeling nice and smooth. I did notice a reduction in my surface wrinkles after applying the serum but I am not so sure about my skin feeling plumper or firmer. The serum is very liquidy and lightweight which applies nicely. You only need 2 pumps for your full face and neck. I loved the fact that it didn't leave red blemishes like other serums I have used.

I have sensitive skin, so I was really excited to try out this serum from QV, for sensitive skin. It claims to increase skin hydration and elasticity for firmer, plumper skin. It is fragrance free and non comedogenic. The pump packaging is simple and easy to use. You can dispense less than a full pump, which is great. A full pump is more than enough for my whole face and neck. It is almost a thin lotion consistency; it applies easily and soaks in quickly. My skin immediately feels soft and hydrated. After a couple of weeks use, I definitely feel like my skin is softer and plumper – it’s so smooth! I really love that this serum has no fragrance either. This serum is a winner for me, I will continue to use it and will probably repurchase. It's perfect for those of us with sensitive skin and I also think it's a nice product for anyone to use who is looking for something to add hydration without interfering with other actives you may be using.

I have been using this serum for the last few weeks as part of the BH Trial team. Thank you BH for giving me this opportunity. The serum comes in an easy to use pump bottle, it is fragrant-free and absorbs easily into the skin. I felt it has a level of hydration but not to the extent I would expect a serum to have. I have used other brands that provide more hydration than this serum does. I would say it's not one of the best I have used. It does the job of providing some form of hydration. The best this is it's great for sensitive skin so have to say my skin accepted it well.

It comes in the standard QV packaging the bottle is a nice simple, pump bottle with an easy-to-use pump. I have been using it for a few weeks not and found that this serum was not as rich as other serums I have used. It did not provide the necessary hydration to my skin. It was very thin and not rich enough. I needed additional rich creams to apply on top so I could keep my skin hydrated. I was a bit disappointed in the product. But in saying that it is not the most expensive serum. The serum has not fragrance so it is good for those who like fragrance free products. It is also recommended for people with sensitive skin. It is Australian made and usually I like to support our products but this one did not live up to it for me.

This is an inexpensive hydrating serum. The consistency is light and quickly sinks into skin. The formulation notably contains niacinamide, panthenol, and a proprietary blend known as Avemide 15 that features in many of the products in the QV Face range. According to the QV skincare website, Avemide 15 contains a purified, standardised mixture of 18 components called avenanthramides, which are extracts from colloidal oatmal, and is also combined with a patented mixture of flavonoids that impart a range of skin benefits. The formulation also contains a prominent amount of witch hazel, an ingredient I do not like but its inclusion does not appear to irritate my skin the way it normally would. I also enjoy the very mild cooling sensation and overall find this serum soothing and my skin does feel instantly replenished after use. When you apply it, there is also initially a scent that reminds me of honey water but it is neither pleasant nor unpleasant and quickly goes away. Unfortunately it has no visible benefits in terms of reducing the appearance of wrinkles as claimed. The downside is the packaging that is made of seemingly cheap plastic but the bottle is light and comes with a clear cap. The pump also dispenses easily and I find two pumps is usually adequate for my entire face.

QV Face Hydrate and Renew Serum is a very light, hydrating and fragrance free serum that would be good for all skin types and all ages. The serum is light, and a combination between a gel and lotion. It's really light, fast absorbing and non greasy. My skin is a little bit dry and dehydtated, with fine lines and wrinkles. I used the serum twice daily, after cleansing and before other serums and moisturisers. The serum is really light and soaks in quickly, it doesn't clog the skin or make it oily. After a few weeks of twice use, my skin is definitely more hydrated, softer, smoother and less dry. This means my skin is more nourished and moisturised, and the lines are less dramatic, meaning I feel I can use less makeup. My makeup goes on more even and my skin looks radiant and healthier.

I have used QV for many years as a cleanser and when i was chosen to review their new Serum i was very excited to see how it performed. Firstly packaging was quite lux and easy to pump out what you needed to apply. I am always careful not to purchase skin care with fragrance and this certainly doesnt have a perfume. The serum absorbed immediately into the skin and was very lightweight. Packed with lots of antioxidant ingredients i felt my skin was moisturised as well as protected. The texture of my skin felt quite soft, and the skin definitely more plumper with hydration. It never felt greasy to touch and even at the end of the day, my skin still felt hydrated.

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to review QV's Hydrate + Renew Serum as part of trial team. I used it twice daily before applying moisturiser. The serum is very light and leans more towards a lotion than an oil. It is currently winter so would normally use something a little more concentrated at this time of year however I can see myself using over the hot and humid summer months. This product is targeted for sensitive skin so I can see the benefits of a lighter product. I also enjoyed the fact that the serum is fragrance free.

I found this serum to be a real pleasure to use on my combination sensitive skin. It provided immediate relief after cleansing my face (which usually leaves my skin quite tight and dry regardless of how gentle a cleanser I use) as it absorbs so easily and quickly, leaving the face soothed, hydrated, refreshed and with great elasticity. The serum is a light clear gel that is incredibly refreshing and hydrating, it's the first thing I reach for post-cleansing. It leaves the skin looking smooth, refreshed and hydrated. It also helped improve some of the fine lines around my eyes, nothing major, but there was a softening of them (I'm guessing due to the boost in moisture quenching and boosting the skin in those areas). It was super gentle on my highly reactive skin too which was lovely, it didn't break me out or irritate my skin at all. I would definitely highly recommend this serum to anyone, especially those who have particularly sensitive or dry skin and want a light refreshing hydration boost! It's a bit light for more mature skin types though, still would make for a nice addition to their skincare routines but you would still need to include richer more nourishing creams along with it.

Was very happy to trial this product, as I have dry zones across my face, and noticed within 2 days that they were less noticeable and my face felt softer. Easy to apply and not sticky. Applictator was easy to use. Would like to see larger size packs, as the sample did not last long. QV is a well known Australian made brand, so very happy to trial an Aussie made product. If you don't want to break the bank and looking for a great serum without hefty price tag or any nasties, don't look further. QV serum is reach in B3 and B5, making the skin hydrated, soft and healthy. Only need one or two pump to get enough to cover face and neck generously. I absolutely loved the natural, fragrance free formula, as some expensive serum scene is absolutely overpowering. Not QV! Light, water based, quickly absorbed and no issue with my dry sensitive skin! Need to use twice a day under moisturiser

I love this serum. Wrinkles aren't an issue for me now so I can't speak to the claim that this serum reduces wrinkles by 35% after 28 days. What I can say is this serum is truly suitable for sensitive skin - the skin around my nose and chin can get quite red and sensitised (wearing face masks exacerbates this) and some products can sting, but this did not at all. It's a milky serum and fragrance free (and has that fragrance free smell, which some may not like) and works beautifully under all my different creams and different actives. I have dry skin thats prone to dehydration so I couldn't wear this alone (I'd try maybe on a humid day), especially during winter months, but its great for getting hydration back into the skin after washing your face before you layer with the more emollient creams. Plus, it is a decent size for $20RRP, such good value! It might not have all the bells and whilstles of other serums, but if you're looking for a decent hydrating serum suitable for sensitive skin that won't break the bank, I think this is definitely worth trying.

I love QV products and was very excited to try this one out as part of the Trial team. I have quite dry skin with mild sensitivity, and this worked really well for me. I used it most mornings and each night in between cleansing and moisturizing. I found that my skin definitely improved in plumpness and hydration, it seemed to retain the moisture from the moisturizer better while I was using this serum. My skin texture also improved, and i found that my skin brightness increased as well. I really loved the results, and especially loved the hydration boost during these cold winter days. I feel that this has helped my skin weather the chilling winds too. I found applying it quite easy, and it sunk in really quick, so it was a super easy addition to my skincare routine.

I have only ever used a face wash in the QV range so I was very happy to be trying a skincare product in the range. The hydrate and renew serum is especially designed for sensitive skin which I don’t have but it’s great for people that do. The serum comes in a pump 25g tube that is quite small but only a small amount goes a long way. After cleansing my skin I apply 2 pumps into my hand then smooth it over my face and neck. I find it sinks immediately into my skin without any sticky feel, it gives my skin a lovely glow and plumper skin. This serum contains niacinamide which is vitamin B3, Pro vitamin B5which is Panthenoland Avemide which is an ingredient I’ve not heard of before. But combined they increase skins hydration, which I found immediately, my skin looks plumper and my fine lines diminished after continued use for 2 weeks. I love that it’s fragrance free and doesn’t clog my pores. The serum sits lovely under other products, moisturiser, oils, night creams, sunscreen without any pilling or balling which is a big plus for me as I love to layer my products then my sun protection last. I must say overall I’m pleasantly surprised by the results of a product that is specifically for sensitive skin but gives the same great results as a non sensitive serum. After trialling this product in the QV range I’m really wanting to purchase and try out the other creams/ moisturisers in the same range.

I was happy to be chosen to trial this product. I have been looking for a serum for my skin which is prone to dehydration and sensitivity, and I like QV products. The serum immediately absorbed into my skin, and when I initially began using it, I wondered if it would be enough to hydrate my skin. My skin is prone to dryness and dehydration and the serum feels very light. The serum is ok if I apply it under a moisturiser that suits my dry/dehydrated skin. The fact that is it free of any added fragrance gets a big tick from me. I do like this serum but I'm not sure if I will continue to buy it as I think it is a little bit too light for my skin. My skin however does looks and feel more hydrated though, so I think the serum is helping.

My skin can get sensitive at different times of the year so I have to be careful with what I use but I still like to nourish my skin with all of the beneficial ingredients possible. With QV Face Hydrate + Renew Serum I get the best of both worlds! Beautifully hydrated skin without the rash and it is packed with ingredients that my skin loves: vitamin B3 (niacinamide), vitamin B5 (panthenol), vitamin E (tocephorol phoshates) and Avemide15ᵀᴹ. I apply 1-2 pumps to face and neck, morning and night after I have cleansed. The serum is fragrance free and it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and hydrated. It was really easy to incorporate it into my daily routine because it played nicely with all of my other products and layered wonderfully! My skin is no longer stressed-out and it looks fresher so I am loving this product.

I got this as a trial and just adore it. It absorbs into my skin immediately without leaving any greasy leftovers. I love way you only need a small squirt from the small bottle into your hand and you can do your whole face with that small amount. Its has a lovely white cream consistency which feels so good just putting onto your face and the bottle it comes is a cute looking container , with a see through top and a pump action to get the cream onto your hand.It also looks very grand on your dressing table or bathroom top. I have already recommended this to friends as I do love it that much.

I've found its left my face ingfeel more hydrated quite quickly after the first couple of uses. My skin feels firmer and looks wonderful. I found I only needed 1 pump to cover my whole face and neck area as the serum is quite liquidy, it has no scent which is perfect for sensitive skin. The pump action bottle is cute and very lightweight. Used every morning and night after I've cleansed and toned my face. I have definitely noticed a huge difference and I'm extremely satisfied with the results. I will be purchasing this so I can continue to use it. A wonderful product. Australian made too which is awesome!

I quite liked the plastic bottle pump - it was easy to dispense the correct amount and I wasn't worried about breaking a glass bottle in the sink. The serum itself was OK. It didn't feel like anything special, but I believe the fact that it is fragrance free and made for sensitive skin, means it has less-harsh ingredients and will not irritate my skin in any way. It didn't really do anything for my skin except dry it out a bit, which was not great since the dry, winter weather is already drying out my skin. This compounded the dryness issue. As for plumping and renewing my skin, it didn't do that either. I am in my mid-thirties, and I think my skin is too far gone for the serum to have any effect. I would recommend it for younger skin that doesn't need much attention. The smell really got to me. I'm not a fan of that Vitamin E cream smell. I am used to 'perfumed' creams and the smell threw me off a bit. I did get used to it, but I prefer a fragranced cream. I wouldn't recommend the cream for the advertised claims, but it would make a really good lightweight cream for a younger person (with no dry skin).

This lovely serum was a pleasure to use and never irritated my highly sensitive/reactive skin. It went on super smoothly and really hydrated my skin without making it too greasy or feeling heavy. It left my skin feeling dewy and supple and didn't break me out or leave any rashes like many other products have done in the past. I can't really see any major improvements in regards to lines/wrinkles overall, but my skin does look more brighter and smoother, no dry patches which is lovely! I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a light hydrating serum that is gentle yet effective and perfect for sensitive skin. Also great for those with acne-prone skin as it is super light yet hydrating and didn't aggravate any pimples or flare up my skin whilst I was using it.

Thank you Beauty Heaven for allowing me to be part of the Trial Team of this product. It came very quickly, in its very known logo and not hard to miss in a store if anyone was to purchase. The product is in a 25g pump pack and very easy to use. I am 56 years of age and my skin is quite sensitive and very dry. To my surprise the product is white as I apply it on the back of my hand before dotting it on my face. I apply from decolletage up to my forehead. The substance of this serum is very fluid and lovely. I usually use one pump to do the entire area. Once applied leave on for about 3-5 minutes in order for the skin to soak it up. It has left my skin glowing and my dryness gone in such a short period of time that I have been trialling it, day and night regime. I am loving this product which I will continue to use and purchase in the future. This serum has no fragrance which is a bonus, it is a beautiful base for makeup. I would recommend using a QV moisturiser over the serum once your skin has quenched it all in. QV is a well known and trusted brand, which delivers what it says it does. A high recommendation from me.

Packaging: The plastic bottle pump was lightweight and easy to dispense small amounts of the serum. Serum: It is supposed to hydrate, plump, and firm the skin. After weeks of using it twice a day, it did not do that at all. Acknowledging that we are in the middle of a cold winter and my skin is quite dry, the serum was the opposite of hydrating. It dried my skin and made it flaky in dry-prone areas. I started to use it underneath a proper face cream because it was drying my skin out a lot. Smell: I am not a fan of the smell. It smells like a generic vitamin E cream. It would be great for those who are after a "fragrance-free" cream, however I like it when it is slightly perfumed. Overall, I think this is better as a lightweight moisturiser for younger skin that doesn't really need much attention. I cannot recommend it for those with dry skin or anyone looking to 'plump and firm' their skin.
