I purchased QV Face Moisturising Day Cream SPF 30 because I wanted a gentle effective SPF that was easy to apply. My skin became extremely sensitive, dry & rash prone after Chemoradiation and my regular skin care was no longer suitable. This day cream keeps your skin protected and moisturised without irritation. I have used QV Face for many years and always loved it until last year when it was thick and very white and didn’t absorb into my skin very well. I thought I’d give it another try today and it is much better and appears to be back to the old formula. I’m very pleased.

I have been using this for years and loved it. But the latest tube I bought said "new formula". I seems much thicker and doesn't go into my skin as well as before. May have to now look for something else now

I have been using this product for just over 2wks and it is wonderful, it does multiple things at once. I have avoided SPF products as my eczema would always flare up however since it was a QV product I thought I'd give it a go and I'm glad I did. Another QV product to my list 👍

This works surprisingly well for both myself (mature, sensitive combination skin) and my eczema prone sensitive skinned tween daughter. We both really like it as it is gentle, not at all greasy, has an inbuilt sunscreen, no horrid fragrances and feels nice and light. It does the trick and we will be sure to repurchase.

Works like a wonder. Have tried many creams for my oily skin but this is the best I've tried. Easily gets absorbed into the skin and no oily feel even after hours of use.

First of all I like the packaging. It's simple which will blend in with most bathrooms. It's a trivial thing, but for some people that is important in deciding what goes on their bench. It doesnt have a strong scent which I like, means that using it daily won't cause me a headache in the morning. It is also very light feeling on the skin, applies beautifully and absorbs quickly. I wore it both with and without makeup and my foundation applied really well and didn't look patchy, streaky or uneven which is great. It also didn't effect the longevity of my makeup either. Without makeup it left my skin feeling nice, not oily, greasy or wet which I appreciated. I like a good product that works while leaving your skin looking nice. It's also a good size product, and I don't think you would have any issues getting out the last forms the rubw as you could roll and squeeze it, father than missing the bottom of a pump jar.

This Day Cream is SPF 30 UVA and UVB comes in the signature QV white and Blue simple and clean packaging and contains 150g of product. This day cream feels very light and applies smooth and absorbs quickly with no fragrance or lingering sunscreen smell, even though it does contain zinc oxide, it doesn't smell like sunscreen. I apply this day cream after my normal skincare routine after my daily moisturizer. My skin combination oily and normal at the moment, and I do not think this can replace my daily moisturizer due to how light the cream is. I prefer spf 50 normally, but if I am not going to be out for very long, this is a nice cream to use. I have only used this a couple times, but i have not experienced any redness or blocked pores. It feels a little sticky on initial application, but after it's dried down, i do not feel any residue, it keeps my skin nice and hydrated all day. I will continue to use this for my daily sunscreen throughout this winter.

Thanks Beautyheaven and Ego QV for providing me with the Moisturising Day Cream SPF 30 broad spectrum to test. My first impression is what a generous size tube of day cream at 150g, this is massive and should last a very long time. The packaging in pretty simple but very functional, the day cream comes in a soft plastic tube with a fliptop lid which is super user friendly. The blue writing on white background is easy to read and you can tell at a glance what benefits this cream would provide. This day cream has a SPF 30 and provides both UVA and UV protection. It's designed to help prevent premature ageing and it's also non-comedogenic, which means it won't block your pores. I love that it's fragrance and colour free so this is perfect for those that have sensitive skin. It contains Vitamin B3 to nourish and protect the skin. Due to the fact that there was a long postage delay due to COVID-19 I was only able to trial the day cream for a few days, I would usually prefer to use skin care for at least a month to determine any long term benefits but I'm happy to provide first impressions on the product. The directions for use is to apply the day cream to my face and neck after cleansing my skin. The day cream is white, opaque and quite thick in texture to look at, but once rubbed in it disappears into my skin without leaving it greasy or oily, I really liked the dry touch light weight feel. It's great that this day cream didn't leave my skin with that white cast that some sunscreens can leave. My skin type is normal to dry and I found the moisturiser felt hydrating when first applied, but didn't provide long lasting hydration through out the day. This could be a combination of a few things. The weather is definitely cooling off in Perth and the brisk wind is drying out my skin. The other factor is my skin type which is mature with a tendency to be on the dehydrated dry side. After I applied a hyaluronic serum or my rosehip oil before using the day cream, it helped to boost the hydration levels of my skin. I also used hydrating mists though out the day to help keep up the moisture. I really enjoyed using this moisturiser, I liked that it wasn't heavy or oily and it absorbed easily into my skin. I could apply my foundation straight away, it did provide a flawless base. It's a shame that it only provided SPF 30 because I usually prefer a sunscreen with a higher UV protection of at least 50+. If this was SPF 50+ this would be a perfect day cream/ sunscreen for me in the summer months as my skin is usually tends to be more oily and requires less hydration. I'm more than happy to continue using this during the winter months when it's not as critical to have a higher UV protection in conjunction with a hydrating serum to boost moisture. I can highly recommend this for people with sensitive skin. Also for people that prefer a less occlusive heavy moisturising base, perhaps those with oilier or combination skin type. First impressions, it's in a great squeeze tube which I personally prefer. It makes keeping products sanitary nice and easy which is always a plus. It's went on really easily and didn't feel heavy at all, I tried to wear it alone and then with makeup after and it worked both ways. I've recently come off a course of Roaccutane and this was lovely and hydrating and didn't irritate my skin at all! I've already put my mum onto it as she has really sensitive skin and she likes it too. A little does go a long way which is great because it will last such a long time as they give you a generous amount of product. Overall I really like it and i'll continue to use it going forward. I feel like it helped improve my skin hydration more as I continued use, really happy!

I found this face moisturiser easy to apply, I loved that it has SPF in it and I wear it every day now under my makeup. it absorbs quickly into the skin and does not leave a residue, nor does it have a sickly scent that is overpowering. It is fragrance-free and comes in a lovely sized tube that you can also pop into your handbag. This QV Face Moisturising Day Cream is perfect for everyone in the family and you can also get the kids to use it every morning before they go to school. It is a good quality brand that caters for people who also have sensitive skin issues. it is very reasonably priced so you can buy a couple of tubes, one for work and one for home. It can be used all year round and also on your neck and ears. It is the perfect staple for everyone's daily ritual.

I'm always o the look out for a good day moisturiser that has SPF protection and doesn't leave my skin oily. I think I've hit the jackpot!!! I was lucky enough to be included on the trial for this product. I haven't used QV products in the past, so I was looking forward to giving it a go. Packing wise, its a tube with a flip top lid, nothing fancy. But it's a decent size and will last a while. The moisturiser itself is thick and creamy, and I found it easily absorbed into my skin. A slight sunscreen/sorbolene smell which wasn't unpleasant. I loved the fact that it didn't leave my skin oily and my skin definitely felt soft and hydrated afterwards. My make up sat perfectly on top of it too. I find with some day moisturisers that it does seem into my eyes and burns a little especially painful when wearing contacts, but I've had no reaction which is brilliant. My only criticism is that its SPF 30, I would love it to be more around SPF50. On the weekend I'm out and about so would prefer that extra bit of protection.

I was very excited when I received this in the mail, when applying to my face I find that this stings my face slightly at different times throughout the day- I continued use for about 5 days but I have been aware of the sensation every day. My skin has showed no signs of irritation, although it is uncomfortable for me and I feel kind of like rubbing my face but I can't because I wear makeup on top. I definitely know that it is this product as no other products are new to my routine. The sensation definitely isn't a fluke because I have now read other review which state different degrees of the same sensation. The packaging is generic for the QV Face Moisturizing Day Cream comes in a nice box with a squeeze tube It's a shame, because the product itself isn't too greasy after application and works well under makeup. I'm disappointed.

This is such a great product. It is a very hydrating moisturiser, a bit oily at first but after about 10 min it is totally absorbed. It is unscented and just feels clean and good on your skin. The SPF 30 helps protect your skin against damage and premature ageing by the sun's UV rays. Less fine lines and wrinkles - added bonus. The best thing about it is that it provides you with SPF 30, but with absolutely none of the "sunscreen" smell or slick. I don't know how QV have done it! I wear it both alone and under makeup, and it works wonderfully both ways. I love leaving the house feeling like I am protected from the sun, without smelling like I am going for a day at the beach. A great economically priced face moisturiser that is perfect for sensitive skin and does what it says - "Moisturise " I also like that it is an Australian made and owned company.

I was ever so lucky to be chosen to trial this with the beauty heaven trial team. It is a stunningly presented beauty product that oozes sofistication with the no fuss packaging. The product is creamy, decadent fragrance with a feminine twist. A lot of this product goes a long way. As you apply this upon your skin it just glides on. My skin just lapped it up! It is a great milky skin cream that provides you with great spf coverage. It is something that you can incorporate into your daily skin routine. I have found that this product is milk to my skin. It has transformed my skin to be silky and smooth. Soft and subtle. It is a great product and cannot wait to see the results after a month of use It is a product with a fantastic affordable price point. Australian made product, which to me is vitally important.

I was impressed with this cream! The squeezee tube with the flip top lid is handy and travel friendly. The cream has miminal scent and is non greasy and doesn't leave oily residue on the face. Also it is dermatological tested, suitable for sensitive skins, offers UVA and UVB protection, is fragrance and colour free.

My skin has been loving this moisturiser! For background, I have dry, sensitive and eczema-prone skin and QV is a brand I've always trusted and used throughout the years on both myself and my little boy. My most favourite thing about this moisturiser is how gentle yet effective it is at keeping the skin nourished all day. It's fragrance free and feels lovely, not greasy at all. I've tried a range of facial moisturisers and this one by QV is one of those easy, no-fuss products that I can always count on, especially with my sensitive skin! I love that it has the added SPF 30+, which means I don't need to worry about adding another layer on my face being a busy mum! I also love that it's a product that is so easily available, I can pick it up at the local pharmacy just down the road - another huge plus being a busy mum! I highly recommend this to everyone, especially anyone with dry/sensitive skin.

I enjoyed using this QV Face Moisturising Day Cream. I love moisturisers that are SPF and this one is SPF30. A decent SPF is so important all year round. I liked the texture that is creamy and not at all greasy. It rubs in well and does not leave any white cast like some sunscreens. It felt comfortable on and my skin felt well moisturised. I felt no irritation at all and found this product very gentle on my skin. It is great that it is free from some common irritants such as fragrance, colour and lanolin. I find lots of sunscreens irritate my skin but this moisturiser with SPF did not irritate at all. The packaging was very simple and inoffensive but not very stylish. I enjoyed the squeazy tube like design that made getting the cream out very easy and hassle free.

Qv face moisturising day cream applies well and gives good sun protection for the face and neck. It feels good on the skin. It isn't greasy. I wear this under make-up. It comes in a 75gram tube that is easy to store and carry with you. Protects the skin from the suns rays.

I heard good things about the QV product but never really tried it before untill this sunscreen. I liked the sunscreen as it didn't had any fragrance and didn't made my skin oily which usually ends in new breakouts. The texture was good too and worked really well under my makeup and didn't melt my makeup. The packaging was really handy and perfect size for the handbag when going out in sun. SPF30 did gave me proper protection from the sun. This can really work well as daily moisturiser for my combination skins as it gave enough hyradation without the oily pataches, my skin also gets a bit dry sometimes but this moisturiser was perfect. I felt the formula is pretty smooth and spread out evenly, it takes few seconds to absorb so you do need to wait before applying makeup on otherwise it will rub on when applying the foundation or the setting powder. Overall, its a great product and I loved the non-greasy formula.

When the packaged arrived was excited to open. The tube the cream came in was perfect as it came out easily when squirting out onto my hand. Love the fact it is Australian made and owned suitable for sensitive skin and spf 30 which is even better. I have been using every morning after cleansing and using on my face neck and arms. It runs in easy no smell and found it didn't sting my eyes when I started to sweat which is great. I have been only using for a week and that amount of time I have found my skin softer and have not been sunburnt when I go on my morning runs. I have also tried wearing it under my makeup and it goes on smoothly and easily. Also having no scent is also a bonus as I don't like anything on my face that has too much fragrance or even better none at all.

I took part in reviewing this product in the trial team. Whilst I currently have a daily moisturizer with sunscreen, I found the QV face cream amazing. It was thick and coverage was great, however it didn't make my skin oily through the day, which I have with my current product. The product has no smell and felt great on my sensitive skin, I didn't react or have any red patches. I used the product whilst in the sun and didn't have any issues with sun exposure. The QV face cream comes in a decent size tube for the price, so will look to last a relatively long time (bonus). The marketing remains consistent with other QV products in the blue and white packaging.

On first impression, for a daily face cream this 150g tube is a pretty generous size, much larger than my other facial creams I have currently in rotation. I love a good, fuss free daily moisturiser for my face. It's always good to find one that you can really rely on that just works! This product is fragrance free, contains SPF, Vitamin B and keeps skin hydrated all day, even for me working in air con all day, my skin still feels soft and plump. The formula feels smooth and spreads freely on the skin, soaking in within seconds, allowing me to go ahead and apply my makeup of the day straight afterwards. The Vitamin B is a nice bonus ingredient which I've noticed has helped to smooth out my light fine lines and my skin's texture appears smoother on my forehead most predominately. Overall, really enjoying this daily moisturising cream. It's a nice little luxury for myself for those few quiet minutes first thing in the morning for a little self TLC. Highly recommend this product, it's a great everyday beauty skincare staple.

Thankfully I was given the opportunity to trial this product. When looking for a moisturiser I look for something with SPF, and at the same time is smooth and easy to wear under makeup. Luckily this product did just that. When I look for a product I like to have minimal look packaging, and this moisturiser provided just that. As well as that, the moisturiser had zero scent which was, in my opinion, one of the best factors. The moisturiser went on smooth and you could barely tell it was there, with the addition that you know your skin will be protected when going into the sun due to the SPF factor, therefore you don't have to use a separate SPF product. Not only is this product affordable, but it left my skin extremely soft, and I will continue using it in the future. I noticed zero change to my makeup during the day, and that is rare when it comes to trialling a new moisturiser / SPF. I'm so grateful I was able to find this product!

This is a great, non greasy moisturiser. I have always been a huge fan of QV products for both myself and my family and this day cream didn't disappoint. I've been using it for over a week and can already see a difference in my skin. My face looks more hydrated and fresh looking. Although I've been stuck at home given the current climate, I love the fact that it's SPF 30. Another bonus is the inclusion of Vitamin B3 and that it's formulated for sensitive skin. I sometimes find that other day creams can leave my face feeling oily and clogged but not this one. You only need a small amount and it absorbs really well into the skin. Like other QV products this is fragrance and colour free but I must admit that I would prefer a light scent in my face cream. Thanks again beauty heaven and QV for having me part of this trial.

Product comes in a very economical 150gr (large!) squeezy tube with a flip-top lid. It is made in Australia (big bonus points) and claims to be suitable for sensitive skin. It is a thicker, white lotion and has no scent. It applies easily to the skin and leaves a natural finish, almost demi-matte which is great for a sunscreen as I find them to be either too greasy or the higher zinc ones can be super drying and feel like a clay mask on the face. This one is a very comfortable formula and wears well all day, no greasiness or pilling as the day progressed. What I liked most about it is that it doesn't bleed or migrate into the eye area and cause stinging. It stays put and doesn't irritate my eyes or my skin and I'm pretty impressed with it and can't find any fault. The soft tube is great, easy to carry around with no leaks. It is so economical, the large size means I was freely applying it to face, neck, chest and back of my hands daily for the length of the trial and there is still a good 3/4 of the tube left. Can't fault this product and will happily repurchase myself when this tube finishes.

I recently was offered to trial this for BH Trial Team and immediately clicked accept. I usually have combination skin but since the colder weather has begun,my skin has been tending to head more to the drier side. My skin is also sensitive, and I know QV to be a great brand for sensitive skin types so I was excited to try. The fact this is also a sunscreen as well as a moisturiser, was however, the main appeal to me. In the mornings, I like to keep my routine as simplified as possible and this sunscreen/moisturiser in one sounded perfect. The QV Daily Moisturiser is SPF 30 and comes in a large tube with a flip top lid. The cream is quite thick and is scent free. It absorbs quite fast and leaves no white cast. I was worried it would feel quite heavy, and it does initially, but it feels hydrating and comfortable within minutes. I had no skin irritation at all while using thia daily over the last 2 weeks or so., no sunburn and my combination skin felt adequately hydrated from this alone. I enjoyed using this product and think it is great value for the price and the amount you get. I love how it has let me skip the moisturiser in the morning as now I have one less step to do each day. I would definitely consider buying this in future when I run out as I am quite impressed so far.

I was lucky enough to trial the QV Moisturising Day Cream thanks to Beauty Heaven. This day cream looks like a typical QV product, with the easily recognisable packaging and scent. I found this product lovely to use, it has a slight scent which is not offensive, and it smooths onto the skin with no problems. The tube has a flip top lid which I really like as it's quite hygenic. I also liked the fact that it had the little silver seal on it, so I knew that I was definitely the first person to use it. I love that it has an SPF of 30, it's perfect for everyday use. My skin has been quite irritated lately as I have been wearing a mask at work, and I have found that this moisturiser has just the right balance of moisture without the heaviness some of my other moisturisers seem to have.

What a gloriously large tube - I was lucky enough to trial the 150g tube but it is also available in a smaller size of half that at 75g. (Perfect travel/handbag size.)so helpful for an everyday product. If you've used QV products before, you'll be aware that they are super-friendly to sensitive skin, and this was certainly no exception. A very satisfying moisturiser and sunscreen to use, on the daily. Offering 30 SPF and even vitamin B for nourishment. A real pleasure to use as it is noticeably lighter than many other protective formulations out there. It's as if you're just using a regular moisturiser but with the benefit of high protection against the nasty ageing UV rays. It was very amenable to be used under makeup with no pesky â€˜balling-up' that is my absolute worst enemy of layering skin products. Isn't it just so annoying? Like we want to look like a peeling mess! Why does that happen? What is the strange and curious process that occurs there? Scientists? Dermatologists? Please explain.

I've used QV products in the past and have found they are great for sensitive skin . I was happy to review QV Day moisturiser but had forgotten I had used their moisturiser in the past and was not particularly excited by the product. This moisturiser does what it says but is defiantly no frills moisturiser. My skin has no reactions to this moisturiser but feels like it can't breath properly. It feels like the added sunscreen is causing the moisturiser to feel like zinc cream on my skin. The flip top lid is great because I find this is the most hygienic way to apply moisturiser instead of the traditional jars that you tend to stick fingers in to, to apply the cream. The moisturiser once applied keeps my skin hydrated which I love but there is no anti- wrinkle or extra moisturising properties unlike most other moisturisers. For me I need some anti wrinkle power of some sort so is not really suitable. This moisturiser has added sunscreen which I steer away from as I like to add my own or go without on days I am indoors mostly. I did like the fact that it did not clog my skin or cause a reaction. So great for anyone who has skin issues.

I had the privilege of trialling this product. I really like the clean packaging blue and ways it matches the bathroom nicely I also like the Flip-top packaging to me it has always been more hygienic to squeeze out then to dip a finger in. I don't normally like SPF Moisturiser but I found this one to be life and not smell of the heavy sunscreen smell that you normally find in a cream. I have dry skin And normally very fussy with what I put on my skin but I found this non fragrant, light and smooth while hydrating and not thick and greasy. You do not need a large amount of product as a 10 cent piece was enough for my face and some on my neck. I would recommend this for daily use on all skins even sensitive as I have sensitivity on my cheeks and found this product to be fine I sume because of the vitamins inside.

This moisturiser surpassed my expectations. It had enough moisture to hydrate my skin with no greasiness and didn't irritate my skin. The packaging is simple but pleasant with an easy to use squeeze bottle to dispense the product. The moisturiser has a pleasant mild scent. The consistency of the product is light and makes it easy to spread around the face. The light consistency of the moisturiser does not affect the hydrating benefits. An appealing aspect of the QV Face moisturising cream is that is contains SPF 30. It makes me feel great knowing I am using a product that not not only hydrates my skin but protects it as well. Given how gentle this product is I even allowed my 10 year old daughter to use this moisturiser. It is a moisturiser that would be suitable for the whole family.

I have used the QV bath wash and QV dry skin moisturizer for years but had never tried their face cream before. So glad I got to trial it as I simply loved it! It will now become a trusted part of my daily morning ritual! It is a classic fresh white coloured tube with a blue and silver highlight. Its easy to use and dispenses just the right amount of cream to cover my face. It has no fragrance which I love and a decent SPF of 30. It is a basic white in colour snd the consistency of the cream is nice and thick for a smooth coverage. It sinks in quickly leaving my skin feeling instantly protected and hydrated . My skin stayed well moisturized all day long. It was also a nice matte finish and is not shiny or greasy. My makeup went on easily over it. The usual dry areas around my nose felt soothed. I do have sensitive skin and am always wary of breakouts when switching face products, but this QV day cream didnt block my pores! Now I wish I had discovered this cream sooner! This product certainly lives up to the long held quality and gentleness of the QV range.

As facial sunscreens go, this is one of the best. You can't beat sun protection minus the greasy feel and that's my favourite thing about this sunscreen - moisturisation and protection minus the greasiness. My skin feels well hydrated and protected while using this. However, as much as I do like it, it's not a perfect product. It does leave a white cast if not carefully applied. Also I find the packaging a bit clumsy and it IS only SPF 30, so not the most sun protection you can get. But given that it is very pleasant to use and works well makes it a top pick in my book. I would absolutely continue to use, repurchase and recommend heartily and find it especially great for Autumn and winter use as it does have some outstanding moisturisation qualities. QV is not a brand I normally think of in terms of sun protection, but moisturising AND sun protection is a really good fit for the brand.

First impressions of this product were average. Not a bad thing though. Product came in a typical tube package, nothing vanity worthy, more behind the kitchen mirror material lol. I've always preferred a pump for hygiene and convenience, but again this isn't a deal breaker. Now the product itself has a faint sunscreen scent, not strong at all. And after a little while this disappears completely which is great. The texture of it feels lighter than your typical sunscreen however it does have that purple tint to it when you do apply but this doesn't seem visible once product has settled into skin. I do love how there is no greasy feeling afterwards though, and the product absorbs into the skin completely. This is great for a fresh makeup free face but also works equally well under a full face. I didn't notice any breaking up of my normal makeup routine. No breakouts either which typically does happen for me when using spf products. All in all a great product. Not my absolute fave in every day sunblock facial creams but probably a good affordable alternative to what I currently use. Works well.

What an impressive moisturising sunscreen for the face with NO greasy after residue!!(and because there is so much product in the tube, at this price you can keep going down to the decolletage, shoulders and arms. QVface day cream by Ego (Made in Aust.) packs a great punch. There is so much to love besides the moisturising qualities and the broad spectrum SPF 30- winner-winner just there, but wait there's more. This face cream is dermatologically tested, suitable for sensitive skins, offers UVA and UVB protection, is fragrance and colour free and claims to be non-comedogenic (won't clog pores- and it doesn't) The claim is the usual spiel with regards to "moisturising benefits with SPF protection, helping to prevent skin cancer, premature ageing and wrinkles of the skin" so I'll have to wait a while to see if these claims ring true, however, in the meantime, I am extremely happy with the moisturising properties. I am sold on the easily portable squeeze tube that will travel safely with its flip-top lid, but you just can't go past the generous size weighing in at 150g , so easy and accessible from pharmacies and at a great price of $24.95. What a great beauty budget buy.

To be honest, when I first tried this cream, I thought it was meant to be a night cream because I thought it looked quite â€œheavyâ€ to be a day cream, but wow! You only need a pea sized amount as a little goes a long way. It absorbs really quickly into the skin and doesn't leave that greasy after feel like some day moisturisers do. What I really loved about this moisturiser was the fact it contains no fragrance and is SPF 30, it's very nourishing to the skin and kept my face well hydrated throughout the day. After only using this for one week, I can most definitely see an improvement in my skins appearance, it's more hydrated as I don't have any dry patches and even my foundation glides on over the top when I have worn makeup. The QV Moisturising Day Cream is very affordable and will most definitely last a few months. I think I'll be switching over to this brand!

I was lucky enough to be on the trial team for the QV face moisturizing day cream. Firstly it comes in a plastic tube with clean and simple graphics in white and blue. It has a flip bottom which makes it easy to dispense the exact amount of product needed. The ingredients list is not extensive (meaning not heaps of strange chemicals) which is fantastic for my sensitive skin, and it is also Australian made and owned. I really enjoyed incorporating this onto my daily routine. I usually use two separate products for moisturizer and sunscreen so having only one product to apply each morning made things so easy. The texture and colour of the cream was very much like sunscreen - white and slightly oily on the skin though that is to be expected with it being SPF 30+. After application of makeup (some days just a loose powder and others full foundation blush etc) the QV face moisturizer well out performed any sunscreen I've used. The shine did not creep through nor did my makeup slide off before the days end. It did not "ball up" on my skin either. I could not tell I had it on - it was like applying makeup without sunscreen underneath which is fantastic. Sometimes I skip using sunscreen because it affects my makeup application but now I will not need to thanks to this QV day cream. I was very happy with the performance of this moisturizer for day time application, I particularly loved that it has a strong SPF while also moisturizing my skin. I loved that it did not affect my makeup application and performance. I will definitely continue using it alongside a good night cream/oils for further hydration benefits.

I trialled this cream as part of the trial team. First impression was positive with a generous 150gm size tube with an easy to use flip lid which also secures well and serves as the base to stand up ensuring product is always easy to squeeze out. The clean white tube with the signature QV branding was appealing and easy to recognise what the product was. The cream has miminal scent which doesn't overpower your senses, is both non greasy (easily absorbed) and doesn't leave any colour after being absorbed. I have slightly sensitive skin which can become red and irritated with some products containing sunscreen. QV Face Moisturising Day Cream has left my skin feeling sooth and nourished after being used every morning for 2 weeks and I have found a little bit goes a long way so it is also very good value for money at around $25 for the larger size. I am going to continue using the moisturiser even though it is coming up to winter as I still spend a fair bit of time outside. As I am getting closerto 50 I feel I need all the help I can get to avoid skin cancer on my face and usually don't like sunscreen. This one is good protection with SPF30 coverage.

Thanks BH for the chance to trial QV Face Moisturising Day Cream. I was impressed with this cream! The squeeze tube with the flip top lid is handy and generous in size being 150g. The packaging is simple white with QV's distinct blue writing, no bells and whistles. The cream isn't thick like a sunscreen but still has SPF30 protection and applies and absorbs easily. The added vitamin B3 is an extra bonus! My skin is a combination of dry and sensitive making this cream perfect. I didn't experience any sunburn despite sweating during my afternoon walk and no break outs either which was great. I love that it is fragrance and colour free. Both my husband and my daughter have used this face cream and said that it works well for them too. My daughter is young and had no break outs or burning on her pale skin. I haven't tried this cream with makeup on top of it but I'm thinking it would work well given how well it applies and that it doesn't have any greasy residue. Will purchase in the future :)

I was fortunate enough to be enough to be included in the beautyheaven trial for this product. I am in my mid 30s and have normal skin though I find it can feel dry at times (especially in colder times) with the occasional breakout. I usually wear a moisturiser with sunscreen if 50 spf and apply this after my toner and serums every day even if I'm staying indoors- which we all are now given the pandemic! I found this moisturiser did a good job of moisturising my normal skin and layered nicely on top of my toner and 2 serums. On my no make up days, I found it gave my skin a nice, healthy but not-shiny glow. When I did wear make-up, I found it played well and also layered nicely so that's a big plus. For a sunscreen, it didn't leave a white caste which was a pleasant surprise despite it containing zinc oxide and actually just felt like a regular facial cream. It also didn't leave a sticky sheen which I've become accustomed to with my usual moisturising sunscreen and absorbed quickly. I used a generous amount to ensure I was getting the benefit if the sunscreen to cover my face, neck and chest and found I could apply several layers of this and it still absorbed well. It washed off easily when I double cleansed at night and didn't sting my eyes which is what can occur (and I've become used to!) with other facial sunscreens. The moisturiser comes in a large squeeze tube which made it super easy to dispense and comes at a very affordable price point. Recommend!

Getting to trial the QV Face Moisturising Day Cream with SPF 30 couldn't have come at a better time! I have been on the hunt for a face sunscreen that doesn't irritate my skin or cause breakouts and I think I finally found a winner! The QV face Moisturising Day Cream comes in a generous 150g tube which will last a long time for sure! It is fragrance free which is lovely, it definitely doesn't smell like it has sunscreen in it at all. The consistency of the cream is on the thinner side of what you'd expect for sunscreen products but it absorbs into the skin really well and doesn't leave a white film over the skin like other face sunscreen products I have tried in the past. It doesn't feel greasy either which is a huge win for a moisturiser and a face sunblock. I was able to use this product on my two daughters also who both have sensitive skin and it didn't cause any irritate and kept us all protected from the sun during our daily walks. I would definitely recommend this to anyone whether you have sensitive skin or not, I think it's a great product :)

I have really enjoyed trying QV Face Moisturising Day Cream. I have quite sensitive skin and am prone to redness, irritation and dryness so I was very much looking forward to trying a day cream suitable for my skin. What I loved about this day cream was that it had no fragrance and has the added benefit of SPF 30. I find that other highly-fragranced creams can irritate my skin, however, this cream is fragrance-free, and also has added vitamin B3, so it's very nourishing for my skin. It is very easily applied and you don't have to use very much; a little goes a long way! The cream didn't feel greasy on my skin and was comfortable to wear all day. I felt like my skin was hydrated and moisturised and looked and felt healthy and smooth. I would recommend this day cream for anyone with sensitive skin who is looking for an effective day cream moisturiser with the added benefit of SPF 30.

I was delighted to be given the chance to review this cream - I'm always on the lookout for good moisturisers with SPF factors in them. There are no contra-indications for this cream and it can be used by anyone. I would be happy using it for my children if need be. Packaging: Basic, nothing flashy. Tube packaging, which is good hygiene wise, especially when dealing with sensitive skin, but always a pain getting the last weeks' worth of product out. I prefer fancier/flashier packaging. Pros: Nice light texture, it soothed my skin and was good on my sore and dry dermatitis cracked hands as well, which definitely lives up to its ability to soothe sensitive skin. No stinging when I applied it is always a good sign. Vitamin B3 is an excellent addition for nourishment and the SPF 30 is highly beneficial and the minimum of what we would expect for use in Australia. Cons: Has a mild "suncream" smell and still feels like it has the consistency of suncream (I hate suncream with a passion). It felt greasy on my face when applied which is one thing I particularly dislike, although I have normal-dehydrated skin; I've much preferred it has a hand cream and for my neck and decolletage. Verdict: All in all, it's not something I would use again. While I'll happily finish the tube and it'll most likely live in my car or sports bag and get used up as a hand, decolletage and arm cream, the greasy face feeling was a big no-no for me. It could just be my skin type and personal preference though - I've no doubt that it'll work really well for others and I would add it without quam to any products I would recommend to people who ask.

I kindly received the QV face moisturising day cream with SPF 30 for the BHTT. The large 150g squeeze tube is not only easy to use it is also quite economical. There is no real discernible scent to the formula which is of a medium consistency which not only is easy to dispense and spreads quite easily over the face and dÃ©colletage. It provides a decent amount of nourishment without feeling heavy on the skin. This product did not cause any breakouts or irritations on my skin. I find that makeup applies well over the top of the moisturiser, As does additional SPF if you require additional protection. I have not experienced any pilling issues with layering serums etc. Overall I think this is a pretty decent moisturiser which is also at an affordable price point and will last for quite a few months. It is also a bonus that this product is made in Australia.

Thanks to a few hormonal changes recently, my skin has been needing more moisture but is also much oilier in the T-zone. My usual products just weren't cutting it and that balance was lost. In comes QV with a deeply moisturising day cream, which meets my skin's hydration needs, but doesn't worsen the oilier bits on my nose and chin. Add in the bonus of an SPF 30 and I needed no more convincing that this was the right product to replace those that were no longer helping my skin. QV isn't packaged in the most glamorous vessels, but there's nothing ugly about a clean, white tube with a flip-top lid. The 150g of moisturiser will last me for many months to come, and the fragrance-free formula means no irritation or clashing of scents. The product itself is creamy and rich without being too thick, and a little goes a long way. I found that my skin drank it in over just a few minutes and that the hydrating effects lasted all day. Makeup applied beautifully over the top and nothing balled up, which happens with other SPF-containing products. I can't comment of the efficacy of the SPF, given that we're in lockdown and I'm not getting a lot of sun exposure, but my pigmentation hasn't worsened. I also found myself applying it to the backs of my hands every morning, which isn't something I can see myself doing with a more expensive or "fancier" moisturiser. I'm enjoying the way this great QV product makes my skin feel, so I'm guessing I'll stick with it for a long time.

Thank you BH for allowing me to trial QV face moisturising day cream. I really like this product. It comes in a flip top tube which I like for hygiene reasons when using it. It is dermatologically tested so is great for sensitive skin. It has SPF 30 high protection which I found great for a day spent in the garden. It is very gentle on your face without any irritation at all. I have very sensitive skin which is prone to eczema . When I have a flare up nothing helps and usually other products just make my problem worse. When I received this product I had eczema on my face after spending all day in the garden. My skin felt so soothed after applying this cream the first time and my eczema was gone within 2 days. I will continue to use this cream although I think you would still need a good night cream as it is only lightly moisturing. I will try QV night cream as well. Another big plus it is Australian made.

First of all, thank you Beautyheaven for the trial opportunity. QV Face moisturising day cream broad spectrum SPF30 comes in 75g and 150g tubes. I received the 150g tube for this trial. The day cream itself is fairly thick, but it blends quite easily on my skin. The cream is unscented. I believe I have used this QV Face moisturising day cream a few years ago. But looking at the QV website product ingredients and compare them to the one in this trial, I would say the trial version is likely to be a reformulated version, but there are some ingredient differences. The newer version in this trial now has lower percentage in Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol (used to be 2.5%, now 1.0%) and Bemotrizinol (used to be 1.8%, now 1.0%) however the newer version now also has zinc oxide 1.5%. I didn't notice any white cast from the zinc oxide on me, but I have fair to light complexion. If you have darker skin complexion, you might want to test it first. Compared to how I remember the older version, this current version of QV day cream seems less thick and is easier to blend. My skin normally doesn't tolerate chemical sunscreen ingredients, but this QV day cream is very gentle on my skin. I have oily combination skin, and I find that this day cream makes my T-zone quite oily about 3 - 4 hours after application. As a result, if I put makeup on top of this day cream, the makeup will break up around my nose very quickly. I would see myself using this day cream in winter, when my skin tends to be less oily. In summer, I would see myself using a different day cream that is mattifying, and then using a higher SPF sunscreen. But if you don't use makeup much at all, this is a perfectly adequate SPF day cream. Overall I like this product. A gentle SPF30 day cream that doesn't irritate my skin. If you have oily combination skin like me, I would recommend using this in winter, so that your face doesn't turn into an oily mess. I look forward to using this in colder months.

The QV Face moisturizing Day Cream didn't came in a packaging box, just the tube. The tube is 150 mg, white all over with blue writing. Its very minimalistic in terms of designing and not pleasing to the eye. It could have been better designed. The cream itself is thick and creamy. Its also fragrance free but does have a wierd smell. The pros are that its SPF30 so need for additional layer of Sun screen. It has vitamin B3. Its pH-balanced, has low irritant formulation and free from colour and lanolin. Despite all the positive features its not what I would recommend as it feels oily on the face despite QV's claim that its non-greasy and can be used under make-up. My face felt like i had put oil on it and looked awfully shiny. Someone with sensitive and itchy skin might benefit from this product but it doesn't work for me. I have resorted to using it as a hand and foot cream because it hydrates the skin very well.

I was selected to trial QV Face Moisturising Day Cream. The moisturiser cream is dermatologically tested and suitable if you have sensitive skin. The product comes in a white/blue QV squeeze bottle which is very simple and classic. The packaging states that the cream has vitamin B3 and SPF30 broad spectrum added to protect and revitalises sensitive skin. My skin is quite sensitive to some products, but I had no issues using this cream. I quite like this product, I found it didn't leave my skin feeling tacky like sunscreens normally do and it soaked into my skin nicely. I haven't applied make up over the cream (I'm currently in isolation due to covid19 â€“ so haven't worn MU in weeks) but I don't feel it would cause any problems. The packaging states that this cream is a non-comedogenic, meaning it won't block your pores. I was pleased when I read that, as my skin breaks out quickly. I am pleased to inform you, my skin didn't breakout! Happy days. I would recommend this product to everyone. Extra bonus, it is Australia made.

How nice it is to be able to simplify my morning routine :) This gentle sunscreen comes in a very user friendly beautiful tube. No fragrance and nice creamy texture. So very perfect for all skin types, including sensitive, this day cream is moisturizing with good amount of sun protection. Not very hydrating though, so I still had to apply my HA serum first but rest of the steps were totally eliminated. On first application it doesn't feel too heavy and gives a nice glowy finish. But topping up is bit challenging since this is a slightly rich cream. I did have to clean up a little bit before reapplying in the afternoon but this can purely be caused by my oily skin. No congested pores or burning eyes - and that's a big win. For being home all the time, I haven't tried wearing much make up on top of this, but given that it isn't greasy, I am assuing that shouldn't be a problem either.

I have been using this product for the more than a week now, it's quite a good moisturiser, and certainly well hydrating for skin like mine, which is normal to dry. The white cream goes on smoothly, has a no scent and doesn't feel to me to be overly heavy or as though it is blocking my pores or anything.I used this moisturiser on a daily basis and will be sure to make it part of my routine going forward. I feel this is little bit thick than the QV face moisturiser i tried before, It doesn't feel oily but instantly i feel little sticky and heavy on my face and doesn't appear to have an obvious sheen after application. But it is easy to blend out and absorbs quickly into the skin. Light sticky and heavy feeling disappear in just a few minutes! I also haven't had any reactions to this product.It leaves my skin feeling fresh and hydrated - which is all i want from a moisturiser. The packaging comes in a 150g tube. The tube is a standard squeeze tube, I prefer this type of packaging as there is less risk of bacteria entering the stored product.The squeeze bottle easily dispenses the correct amount of product due to the consistency of the moisturiser. I really enjoyed using this as my daily moisturiser and I'll definitely continue to use it! With an SPF of 30 and vitamin B3, it's one of the best moisturisers for Australian summer.

I got this as part of the trial team. The QV face day cream is made in Australia, and is a moisturizer that has SPF 30. The formula is lightweight, and I can use the proper amount for a sunscreen (1 teaspoon for face and neck). The cream is also non- greasy, which makes a great alternative as a sunscreen. Throughout the day, I find that the cream is okay in terms of how well it keeps my skin moisturized. The vitamin b3 has the added to aid in revitalising the skin, but I do not see much benefit in that. I do find the QV face cream decent for the price point, and it will be a quality lightweight sunscreen for sensitive skin. Overall, I am happy to use this cream during the day for the autumn and winter sun, but probably will use additional sunscreen during summer months.

I have had the privilege of trying this product over the last few days, This is an interesting product. First of all the packaging. Normally I am appealed with the look of the product, this however was a plain white tube of 150g. Initially looks can be deceiving. I almost felt sorry for the look of this plain white tube that I can nearly relate it to "The Ugly Duckling". There is no fragrance with the moisturiser which is unusual as most do come with either little or some. The product itself goes on quite smooth, similar to the formula of sunscreen and is applied quite nicely and evenly. No residue or heavy feeling, almost as if not wearing any. The product does contain an SPF 30, gently formulated and dermatologically tested which is what I personally look for in a day moisturiser. My skin does tend to be more combination skin, yes at 38 years it hasn't changed and I feel this moisturiser meets my skin balance and does the job it is meant to do. Back to my Ugly Duckling approach, next time you pass this product in the supermarket, pharmacy, take the plunge and buy this product, it is a beautiful product to use and i will definitely recommend to others. Good for sensitive skin types too.

QV Face Moisturising Day Cream comes in a 150g white and blue tube. It has a flip top lid that allows you to squeeze as much or as little of the product in to the palm of your hand. On my first application I squeezed about an almond sized amount of moisturiser in to the palm of my hand and rubbed my hands together and then applied it to my face. This was probably a little more than what I required as I had a little bit of excess product that I just rubbed in to the back of my hands. I only require a five cent piece worth of product to completely cover my face, which is really good as the product will last a long time. Generally I would just cleanse my face, tone, use the serum of my choice and then apply this moisturiser that has an SPF30 broad spectrum. I dont have sensitive skin, but it is dry and the vitamin B3 in this does help with that. There is no fragrance and it is super gentle but is easily absorbed as well.

This moisturiser comes in a large tube containing lots of product and I'm sure this moisturiser will last me a while. It has a handy flip-top lid that the tube rests on, meaning that it's easy to distribute the moisturiser even when you're getting towards the end of the tube. For a moisturiser that contains spf 30, this moisturiser is surprisingly lightweight and non-greasy. It absorbs quickly into skin and provides sufficient moisture. The moisturiser is white and creamy and there is absolutely no fragrance to this product. Personally, I prefer a light fragrance, however I certainly appreciate that this does not irritate my skin (which can be quite sensitive and easily irritated at times) and found that it provided sufficient protection from the sun. As promised, this QV product was non-irritating and more than suitable for my sensitive skin. I was able to continue my usual make-up routine after application and found that it provided a good base for my foundation.

I recently had the opportunity to trial the moisturising daily sunscreen from QV. I have used quite a few products from the QV line including the gentle cleanser and the night cream which I really enjoyed and this product was no exception. Firstly, I would describe this product as a moisturiser first and foremost with the additional benefit of being spf30. Yes there are subtle differences between a moisturiser with spf and an spf that is moisturising. This cream comes in a convenient tube and contains 150ml of product, which is freaking awesome as most products in the same category only contain 50ml or the odd 100ml If product. It also makes it a very affordable option and also helps ensure that you use enough product to actually get the coverage of a sunscreen (this is important peeps and prob why your foundation with spf is not enough for sun protection). The cream is white in colour however when you apply it, it blends in seamlessly and there is zero white cast. I found it dried down relatively quickly and didn't leave that tacky feeling that some products of the same nature seem to give. Now for me one of the key things in a moisturiser with spf is that it must have the ability to be layered. I had no issues with this one. It applied well straight onto cleansed skin but also worked equally well when applied after toner, serum and eye cream (my routine depends on what I am doing for the day). Makeup also applied over the top really nicely with no piling. I tried both mineral makeup and liquid foundation oVer the top with no issues. Overall I feel this is a really great moisturiser with the added benefit of being spf30 so I can get rid of the dedicated spf layer from my routine. My skin is currently quite dry and irritated (iso life!) and I found this gave me the appropriate level of moisturising that I needed as well as providing adequate sun protection for my morning walks. I also liked that it is a physical/chemical combination of sun protection. While over the last few years I have gravitated towards physical sun screens I have yet to find one that truly works for me on a daily basis so this is a nice compromise. A great product and a must try if you are on the hunt for a combined moisturiser and spf for daily use.

This Moisturising day cream is perfect for everyday. I've only started to use this product on my face and already I'm amazed with the level of comfort and hydration it looks to offer my skin. I love that it comes in a flip top squeeze bottle making it super hygienic to use for everyday and ease of application. For the cream itself, it really does a good job in looking to keep the skin feeling hydrated all day long. It's great for an all day product especially if your skin is dehydrated and dry. I've always been a fan of the QV range so trying out this product, I knew that I would not be disappointed with the results. It's an Australian made brand which I am 100% fully supportive of and what better way to support a home grown Aussie brand. As for the cream it doesn't have a strong scent to it which is great for those with sensitive skin too.

As a rapidly aging senior I am self conscious about my skin, due to much stress over the past ten years. I fear I have aged very quickly and I lack self esteem because of this. I spend a lot of money tying to salvage my skin, as I suffered from Facial Shingles a few years ago from stress related issues that have left me with very sensitive skin. As I have eczema prone skin after testing I had to find a new moisturising cream..this cream is so light and none greasy and my eczema is no where near as bad..and leaves my skin feeling soft and fresh.. highly recommended.

I love this moisturiser, it really suitable for any skin especially dry skin. With a bonus of SPF30, this is one of the best in the market. I absolutely love this face cream I have been using this since I was in my twenties and I am now 34, this has a HIGH sunscreen protection but it is so nourishing and beautiful on the skin I love to use this along with the ultra calming cream as my daily moisturiser and primer before I put on my make up. My make up clings to this product and it lasts all day and I don’t have to worry about UV rays as this has me covered! Trust me this is the best day cream there is! It was a year a go when I arrived in Australia, and Iam struggling looking for a moisturiser because I had a different skin type ( Asian skin) sa tried different varieties of moisturiser over the counter. Until I bumped into QV products, it was so good and my skin loved it even my family loved it! my family also used the QV lotion, cleanser and mask. I absolutely love this product! A doctor recommended this for me years ago and it is beautiful - I use it in combination with the gentle foaming cleanser, night cream and eye cream. I live in the tropics and along with suffering eczema, I like to use this moisturiser as it is lightweight, gentle and has sun protection in it. I have Asian combination and sensitive skin. When I moved to Melbourne, my skin have sort of shock. My skin hurt due to harsh summer. I bought this and it is not greasy and immediately absorbed. My skin felt better and it has SPF30 too. I have shared this to my husband who has oily-sensitive skin and he did not have adverse reaction. A little goes a long way but I wish, it has higher SPF which is more suitable for Australia. Will keep buying!

I was given the QV Day Cream to try out and have used it several times, switching between my usual products. How would I define it? Very lightweight but also lovely and moisturising. It does not leave a tacky finish as some spf moisturisers do and it works well under makeup. If I use this moisturiser, I wouldn't bother with a primer, so that's a bonus. I'm not fully sold on it but I certainly don't have anything negative to say about it.

So as someone with super sensitive and red skin, I found this daily moisturiser perfect to protect me against the harsh elements, and helping me from developing even drier skin. Its consistency isn't too thick, is easily spread on the face and it's absorbed very quickly. There isn't really a strong scent. It also has SPF 30, which offers great protection throughout the year. I had no problems with this moisturising cream and would definitely purchase it again.

The product's claims: Keep your dry or sensitive skin moisturised throughout the day with QV Face Moisturising Day Cream. The gentle formula has been created specifically for the sensitive skin of the face and neck and combines the benefits of a moisturiser with the protection of an spf30+ sunscreen, helping to prevent skin cancer, premature ageing and wrinkling of the skin. About the product: The QV moisturising day cream comes in a white squeeze tube with blue labelling and a white screw top lid. It is fragrance free, white in colour and quite runny in texture. It is rapidly absorbed with no sticky or oily residue. My thoughts on the product: I recieved a 40g sample tube of this day cream with the purchase of the QV Gentle Wash. This isn't something that I would normally seek out to purchase as my skin type is normal not sensitive. I found this to be a good basic daily moisturiser, it wasn't quite hydrating enough for my skin to use it solely on it's own. Used on it's own it left my skin feeling a little dry and lacking moisture, I needed to use my facial mist and oil beforehand. I found a little amount of product to go a very long way; about the size of a 10c was plenty to cover the whole face. It absorbs quickly with no oily, greasy or sticky after feel. It didn't cause me to breakout or leave me looking washed out (like some sunscreens can). The final verdict: I most likely won't be purchasing the full size tube as I have a couple of other fave sunscreens that work extremeley well for me and both offer a higher spf 50+ protection. I found this to be a good, effective, everyday product that provided adequate sun protection; although for me it was not overly hydrating. I needed to use other products to boost moisture to stop my skin from feeling dry. I think this is much better suited to sensitive skin types.

I've been using this product for years now, and every time I stray and try something else I always come back. It's a perfect consistency and free from frangrance which is perfect for my sensitive skin. It's hydrating without being too thick, so my skin never feels oily at the end of the day. The high SPF is exactly what I need, as I don't always want to apply sunscreen. This is one of the better facial sunscreens I've tried. It has no scent and sinks into the skin with little rubbing in. It leaves no white cast at all, which is great for my olive-brown skin. I use this moisturizer any day I'll be spending time outside and it has provided good sun protection every time. However, I have to use this after a better moisturizer, as I find this one is a little bit greasy, and not properly moisturizing (the oiliness sits on top of my skin but doesn't sink in and moisturize).

I am super fussy when it comes to sunscreens. My skin is very sensitive to sunscreens so I am very reluctant to buy them until I can try them first. I wrote to Ego Pharmaceuticals asking if they would send me a sample and they did!! Very impressed with how fast it arrived. Now for the cream. I AM IN LOVE. It is hydrating without being greasy (I have an oily T-zone that could solve the world oil shortage in summer) Is is not sticky, it leaves my skin feeling smooth and calm with NO irritation, and best of all NO SMELL! There is no Bondi Beach reject sunscreen smell. Hallelujah, I am saved. It has a kind of thick consistency when you squeeze it out but it sinks into my skin very quickly. In summer I probably won't need to put moisturiser underneath as it is quite hydrating. This is what is called a 'Combination Sunscreen' as it has both chemical and physical (Zinc) ingredients. Even though it contains zinc it doesn't leave a white cast on my face at all. The combination of sun screening ingredients is designed to be a better shield against UVA/UVB rays. I didn't know until recently that there are several kinds of UVA and UVB rays and different sunscreens are better than others at deflecting them. Combination sunscreens are therefore the gold standard and are usually quite greasy or white looking but this cream just blends right in.

After using this for a week or so, I found that this cream is quite moisturising. If you have oily skin like me, it's best to save it for winter instead, as I can see it can make you quite oily in the summer. The consistency is thick but absorbs well, and as far as a white cast, I don't really notice one, and this is because it's a chemical sunscreen (but it might be quite light as I have medium olive tone skin, and lighter in winter). I don't feel that it blocks my pores, and it is quite gentle. I love that there's no fragrance. The only thing is that I'm not sure how much needs to be applied for proper UVA/UVB protection, so it's best to be a bit generous with apolication. I wear this under makeup, and I find primer applied directly over doesn't pill.

I've been looking for a facial moisturiser with SPF for a while but find that most of them are too greasy, sticky or shiny on my face. This moisturiser is probably the better ones out of all of them, but it still feels sticky to put on my face. Something that I liked about this moisturiser is that I didn't get any white cast (I'm an NC 20-25). Another thing is, is that this doesn't feel very hydrating, so I usually use a serum underneath to make my skin feel supple.

I got this product because I had used a topical cream to get rid of acne. As a result, I had really dry skin and my skin started peeling off. I heard that QV was a really good product to use for sensitive skin. I have to be honest here! When I used it for the first time, it did give my skin much needed moisture. My skin felt nice and smooth. But, it also gave that weird white look on my face! I remember I had skin peeling off and at the same time, I used this cream (big mistake!!!). Some of the areas on my face looked like big white patches. It looked as if the cream didn't settle well on my skin. I would definately give this cream another try. However, I'm going to make sure that my face doesn't have any dry patches. My face did feel better after using it. I do believe that QV is a trusted brand and I will buy creams from their range!

I have fairly sensitive combination skin and this is my go to moisturiser! It is unscented, is not too watery or thick, does not feel oily and does not feel too sticky like sunscreen does either! It also has SPF coverage so is great for a bit of face coverage if you're going out in the sun. I use this everyday after cleansing my face in the morning, let it soak in for a few minutes and then proceed with my normal make up routine.

I didn't know what to expect when I tried this, I don't normally use moisturizer that is not tinted during the day only in the evening when I go to bed. I got this for free when buying the body wash and was very impressed with it! I took it with me on my beach holiday and it was great. A nice non-greasy formula that is light and absorbs quickly. I love the fact that it is non shiny and also has SPF so if you're out in the sun you don't need to apply sunscreen.

I bought this moisturiser after it was recommended to me for my oily skin. I find that if I wear it on its own during the day, my skin looks and feels great! It definitely controls my oil levels given its matte finish. I do find though that when I apply it under my makeup, it does look like I have smothered suncream all over my face and feels and looks quite thick. It doesn't really sink in to my skin before I apply my makeup so for that reason, I wear other moisturisers under my makeup and this one only when I wear no makeup

This moisturizer worked a treat with my skin - especially in the colder weather. It did not leave me feeling greasy or break out. It has little to no scent and glides on and absorbs on to skin within seconds. Has a matte finish and stays matte even after a few hours. Perfect moisturizer to be used under make up as it isn't oily.

I honestly think this is a product everyone should own. Male and female. It is extremely important to be protected from the sun and our skin sure does take a beating, without us even thinking. We are constantly exposed to UV Ray's all year around. While vitamin D is great, we need to make sure we are not getting too much UV exposure. This product is amazing. Gentle, light and long lasting. It barely has any smell, an extremely faint sunscreen scent. A tiny amount does your entire face and neck. It is my staple product now. I love it. I apply it each morning. If I wear make up, it goes over the top. I know my face is protected and moisturised which are two great things!

I used to be guilty of not wearing SPF daily but after realising how damaging it was I quickly changed my routine and made sure I was wearing it on both my face and neck at all times. This particular day cream comes in a tube and contains SPF 30 (better than those that contain SPF 20 or 15). The day cream isn't as thick as I expected which too me was good. SPF has a tendency to make my skin really oily so I was hoping for a lighter texture and this cream was a bit runny which I liked. It was less of a cream and more of a lotion. The cream was white and unscented but unfortunately left a bit of a white cast on my face and neck. It's not the end all be all but I prefer not to look like a ghost when wearing SPF products. Compared to other SPF day creams I have tried it's good but it's not the best. I wish they could improve on the formula as I found it to be a tad greasy for my combination skin. I just had to wear a matte foundation on top to keep my face from looking shiny.

This is the best cream I have ever used. It is extremely soothing for sensitive skin yet it is very moisturising but doesn't leave my face greasy. I also love the fact that it is a SPF30+ so I wear it every day under my make up and am covered when I go outdoors. It really is like water to my skin. No more soft wrinkle on my nose, no more itchy skin and also my skin get more supple. If you have sensitive skin steer clear of this product. While QV markets itself towards those with sensitive and hypoallergenic skin this product misses the mark by a mile. After just one application I was left with an unbearable burning and stinging sensation in my face and even after I washed the product away the burning continued. Afterwards my skin was left red, blotchy and tender. I am usually a massive fan of QV products but this was just a painful and unpleasant experience. I have been looking for my holy grail day moisturisers for years. I have used many, there are good ones I will buy again, but this QV SPF30 day cream is something else! I used to avoid SPF moisturisers as I happen to be allergic to some chemical sunscreen ingredients. I have used moisturisers with zinc oxide but wasn't too impressed either. I have used other QV products and love them so I wanted to try this day cream. I noticed a formula change from the ingredient list, so I sent an email enquiry to QV, who kindly answered my questions promptly and sent me a generous free sample. The day cream is fragrance-free, not too thick or too runny. It's easy to blend. It's moisturising without making my skin feel greasy. I have used it under face primer and liquid foundation, and all was good. It's a basic moisturiser, nothing fancy, but it's everything I wanted in a SPF day moisturiser. And it's very affordable. The generous free sample has lasted a couple a weeks, and I have already purchased a full-sized tube. QV provided great customer service regarding my initial queries, and I'm very happy with their product. Highly recommended!

I would prefer a pump however, as it is very funny and I often squeeze too much out of the bottle. The negative is that as I am on roaccutane for my acne, which makes my skin super sensitive. Some days I put this moisturiser on and it is fine, but others days it makes my face burn slightly, which is why I only gave it a three. Brand Response: Thank you for taking the time to contact us. I have been using this moisturizer for years, It does a fantastic job at lightly moisturizing my face daily as well as protecting my skin from the sun. It has a light formula which soaks into my skin easily and doesn't leave me looking too greasy, however it can look a bit shiny sometimes. Being light weight in formula it isn't too heavy to use in summer. It is fragrance free which makes it suitable for sensitive skin.

As someone who has been using sunscreen every day since my early teens, I am very picky when it comes to purchasing a new product. Primarily, I always seek to find an affordable cream that is non greasy and leaves a matte finish that does not interfere with my make up. After using this product for about six months, I will definitely continue to use QV Moisturising Day Cream. It leaves your skin super soft and absorbs straight away, leaving a matte finish hence why I have never broken out from this sunscreen. This product is perfect for wear under make up, and is suitable for everyday use which is why I highly recommend that anyone looking for sun protection should give this a try.

I reckon it's every gal's dream to find THE skincare that's right for them. My search for a day cream that would provide the precise level of moisture for my skin's needs AND protect it against the sun's harmful rays has been going on for decades, and I was beginning to wonder if such a formula actually existed in the market... The much needed SPF factor always seemed to be the problem - too high, and my pores would become congested, too low (or none at all) and the pigmentation in my freckles would begin to increase at an alarming rate, no doubt along with sun damage. I'm so relieved to at last have found Ego QV Face Day Cream, which has everything I need in a moisturiser, without any greasy overload or pore-clogging characteristics. I need only a very small quantity, and being so light and more liquid than cream, it absorbs in a few minutes, so I'm ready to apply my foundation without wasting any time. My nose, forehead and chin aren't gleaming like a beacon within a few hours, and my pores are staying clear of excess sebum. For around $16, this is not only my ideal day moisturiser, it's also super economical, and readily available at any chemist. Full marks ego!

I found this to be a great product which I am quite happy with. The white coloured product has no scent and is rather runny. It absorbs quite well and I can apply my makeup practically right after application. Even though it is quite liquidly I find that it provides enough moisturisation for my combination skin without making my skin too oily or breaking me out. I like the good level of SPF which is 30 and even with this level of protection I found that my face was not left greasy or feeling heavy as some other products with SPF may do. The pricing is affordable and the plastic screw top squeeze bottle that sits on its head makes the product easy to dispense. Overall a great buy I cannot find any problems with :)

This is my holy grail moisturiser. I have used a number of different moisturisers in the three years I started using QV and I always go back to it. It is cheap as chips ($14.99 - often on sale at Priceline) and the quality is outstanding. This day cream comes with SPF 30 and has a runny consistency. It dries quickly and you're left with no oily residue which you sometimes can get with moisturisers with sunscreen. I can vouch for the sunscreen aspect as well, I was wearing this product for about three months then swapped to a different moisturiser and all my acne scars began rearing their ugly head. I could not figure out why until I realised that my new moisturiser had no sunscreen and QV was protecting my poor skin. I immediately switched back. Another great thing about this day cream is that I have sensitive skin and this does not break me out. This is a miracle for dry skin as well. When summer rolls around and I'm sitting in air conditioning all day, I've got this in my bag for handy touch ups. Just a bit of moisturiser on the spot and you are good to go for the rest of the day - dry spot be gone!

My first taster of this product was after having a UV face photo done during a summer road show for sun safety (in case you're interested my results came out as being in the 90th percentile for my age meaning my skin was very good with little sun damage). The lady gave me a sample of a couple of products and this one she recommended I use for moisture and sun protection in winter time. After using up the small sample tube I decided I loved it as a daily moisturiser and promptly bought the full size product. This product comes in a neat tube with a screw on lid. The screw on lid is a little inconvenient as you have to screw it back on after applying the moisturiser (it's hard to put back on with moisturiser on your fingers). The size of the hole for the product is perfect however as it is very easy to dispense the perfect amount of moisturiser without making any mess. This is also complemented by the perfect consistency of the moisturiser itself – it really balances carefully on the line between being too thin and too thick. This makes it really easy to apply to the skin, and it blends in easily. I find it feels really light on my skin and even though it was recommended to me for winter I can easily wear it in summer without it being too heavy. For me it provides the perfect amount of hydration without leaving my face greasy. I find this a perfect moisturiser for daily use for the reasons I already mentioned, plus it contains SPF 30 which is very important to me in a quest to avoid sun damage. It also works well as a base for liquid and powder foundation or tinted moisturiser which I wear on most week days. And as an added bonus it is fragrance free (and no, it does not smell like sunscreen) so it doesn't irritate my nose. At $16.30 this is not a 'cheap' moisturiser but it certainly is still within the affordable price bracket for me (and there are a lot more than cost more). I have found this tube lasts ages as a little goes a long way which helps to justify the cost. I will definitely be considering re-purchasing this for an everyday face moisturiser when it eventually runs out.

I started using this product during winter as my skin started to feel and look very dry (and I have sensitive skin). Well what can I say, I am hooked. After using the QV cleanser, I apply this daily face cream to my face and neck. It doesn't take long to absorb, and is great to wear alone or under makeup. My skin glows and feels amazingly moisturised when applied. Bonus with the SPF30 too.

Winterfell is officially here and my skin has decided to have a hissy fit and throw all sorts of obstacles at me; dry flaky spots, congestion, dehydration and an excess of gorilla hair. KIDDING… or am I… I've started diligently patting this moisturiser on my mug every morning and it's insane, literally like a SWAT shield against the blasted winter chill. An hour long walk in the icy wind might leave me huffing and puffing like Augustus Gloop but my protected skin stays perfectly healthy and hydrated. Winning.

I love that this moisturiser has a high SPF 30 factor. However, I found it quite greasy and left my skin feeling oily throughout the day. The cream itself is thick and really heavy on the skin. The SPF is enough for me to continue to finish the tube but I won't be repurchasing.
